● ANGEL was officially launched in Fall 2003● A team from the MSU Libraries was formed to

investigate Libraries' resources integration into ANGEL

● Representative from Copy Center/Course Reserve, Public Services/Reference, Collection Management/Bibliographers, Systems, Technical Services

About the LibrariesAbout the Libraries

● Main library and nine branch libraries across campus

● Approximately 4.5 million volumes● More than 300 indexes/databases● More than 28,000 periodicals, 200,000 maps,

and 40,000 sound recordings● Serve about 45000 students, 4500 faculties,

6000 staff and community users● On campus and online programs (more than

200 program study)
