Welcome to the "Angels and Reiki" Website. Personally, I have always loved angels. After learningreiki, it seemed "natural" to explore integrating the two. This site is an attempt to share some of thepractices that I developed.

Here you will find the AngelReiki system. It is using reiki with the four Archangels (Michael, Gabriel,Raphael, Uriel). You will also find the AngelicLight system. This is using the manifestations of thelight along with the Angels Raphael and Taharial.

For the Reiki purist, these meanderings into Angels and Reiki might seem unnecessary. For thosethat are of a less traditional bent they may seem to be a fun exploration into using reiki in otherways. For those that love angels, come and explore.

Finally, there is a huge list of angels compiled from many sources. There is an angel for alloccasions.

1. AngelicLight

AngelicLight is a system of BEing the light. Personally, I could never decide if this was just anotherway of using energy like reiki, or something entirely different. I still haven't decided. I leave that toyou, the reader.

The Light of Purity represents one way to connect to the divine source and activate that divine light

within you and your life. It is said that throughout history many people have seen this light andmany connect to it in a variety of ways and means. It was not uncommon for Christian mystics tohave seen the "light". The founder of the Johrei movement, Meishu-Sama was said to have seen agreat light that led him to channel Johrei and to for the Johrei movement. Reiki is often describedas the "light of reiki".

Although I have seen this light since I have memory and worked with it all through my life, it wasnot until I took reiki that I began to understand using this in transmission to others. I have alwaysloved angels, Raphael and Taharial. It was working with these angels that this "system" reallybegan to develop.

A person can connect to this light either by the attunement or by the initiation. It has been myexperience that both ways are beneficial.

Some Information about the Angels

Taharial - The purity of God

Taharial is the angel of inner purity. The gift Taharial brings is the Light of Inner Purity. It is a lightthat purifies our aura, our energy and heals. It is a connection to the purest light of the source.Using it bring more light and love into the world and blesses all it touches. It can be used to heal, tocleanse yourself or your surroundings. It has four levels. This consists of three attunements and aninitiation. Although you can be attuned to the symbol and energy, to be able to pass the energy ofit to others, you need to do the meditation that takes you to the light where you experience theparts of the light intimately and directly.

Raphael - God has healed

Raphael the Archangel is extremely healing to all living beings.He is the angel of the east. Raphaelgrants joy, healing, love, miracles and grace. He inspires humankind to pray and is also protectiveof travelers, guarding and guiding those who take outward or inward journeys. Raphael also grantscourage and encourages scientific breakthroughs and knowledge in general. Essene prayer:"Raphael, Angel of Sun, enter my solar center and give the fire of life to my whole body "

Sharing The Light

There are three parts to the Light of Purity. The first is the light. It is represented by the spiral, theway the energy of light moves as it comes down. The light purifies by illuminating the darkness inour minds and hearts. The light is loving and protective. It is a manifestation of healing a clearingaway gently the blocks and darkness in our lives.

Second, is the Flame. The flame is a flame of the purest whitest fire and is a manifestation of thepurifying power of god. The flame cleanses the aura and energy field. The flame is purifyingthrough burning away darkness and illness. The quality of it loves warmth, like standing in a hotshower. The flame is the transformational aspect of the light. Moving from the lower self (ego) tothe higher or god self or enlightenment. It burns away the irrelevancy of our lower self so we canexperience the purity and oneness of the light, and the will of god.

Third is the lightening. Lightening is the outward manifestation of the power of the light directed.Lightening is used to energize, to charge and to empower. It can be used to empower otherhealing systems and enhance them. It energizes the body and can be directed at an area toenhance healing.

Last is the light pulse. It is represented in the symbol as a triangle. It is the manifestation of thethree as one. It looks, like an intense light ball with a fire core, with lightening coming out from allsides. The energy pulse can be used to pass attunements. Drawn into one's own body, it is super-

energizing.

The Attunement

This is the Attunement for the Light of Purity. It has three attunement or Parts.The attunements can be done separately, with a period of time between them, or all at once. Ifdone at once, the Teacher attunement only is done.

The attunement begins by drawing first connecting you to the light. See it as a shaft of light,streaming down over you, connecting you to the divine light of the source and into the earth,grounding you. The energy flows freely into you.

Offer youre thanks to the light for this opportunity to be a channel of divine light and love for theworld, and for the light and joy you bring to others. Ask that you be one with the source of all thingsas you bring the light to others. See the light fill and surround you, infusing you everywhere, insideand out.

Now bring the light down over the person you are going to attune. Fill them with the light and loveof the source.

Now ask that Taharial and the angels that will help you do the attunements join you and be withyou, and ask the light to bless you and this proceeding, and you are ready.

This is the light pulse symbol. It contains threeparts together as one. The inner part is thespiral. This symbolizes the light as it comes fromsource. Next is the flame. On the outside is the

lightning radiating.

LEVEL ONE - Pure Light of Life

1. In front of the person, draw the light of purity symbol, using the light to make the spiral, theflame to make the flame symbol, the lightening and then the pulse/lightning to make thetriangle. (In this attunement the Light of Purity is only set into the crown, the light spiral is set allthe chakras, including the palms and the feet).

2. Set the light of purity symbol in the crown, and then see the light come into the crown. Set thelight spiral into the crown.

3. Bring the light into (but do not draw the light of purity symbol) into the third eye, draw the lightspiral.

4. Do the same for each chakra (including throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral, and root) until theyare all illuminated.

5. Place the symbol in the palms of the hands, then bringing the light into the hands, and then dothe same with the feet.

6. Surround and infuse the person with the light.

7. Draw the Light of Purity symbol in the persons aura, placing it there and then bringing the lightinto it to activate it.

8. Finish by bringing down a pulse into the crown, through all the chakras to the feet.

Thank the light for allowing you to bless this person with its love and for bringing this light into theworld.

LEVEL TWO - Light of Purification

This attunement is an extension of the first and is performed in the same way, with the flame beingplaced in the chakras and palms and feet along with the light. The light of purity symbol is againplaced in the crown. The light symbol (spiral) and flame symbol placed in the remaining chakras.

LEVEL THREE - Light of Truth

In this attunement, the light, the flame and the lightning are placed in all chakras and the palmsand feet. The light of purity symbol is placed in the crown, heart and palms. Light Pulses areplaced in all Chakras.

1. In front of the person, draw the light of purity symbol, using the light to make the spiral, theflame to make the flame symbol, the lightening and then the pulse/lightning to make thetriangle. Bring a Pulse into the symbol.

2. Set the light of purity symbol in the crown, and then see the light come into the crown. Set thelight spiral into the crown, the flame into the crown and the lightning into the crown. Bring apulse into the crown.

3. Bring the light into the third eye; draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Bring a pulseinto the third eye.

4. Bring the light into the throat; draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Bring a pulseinto the throat.

5. Bring the light into the Heart; draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Draw the Light ofPurity Symbol over the heart. Bring a pulse into the heart.

6. Bring the light into the Solar Plexus; draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Bring apulse into the Solar Plexus.

7. Bring the light into the Sacral Chakra, draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Bring apulse into the Sacral chakra.

8. Bring the light into the Root Chakra, draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Bring a

pulse into the Root Chakra.

9. Bring the light into the Hands; draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Draw the Lightof Purity Symbol into the palms. Bring a pulse into the Palms.

10. Bring the light into the feet; draw the light spiral, the flame and the lightning. Bring a pulse intothe feet.

11. Surround and infuse the person with the light, flame and lightening.

12. Draw the Light of Purity symbol in the persons aura, placing it there and then bringing a finalpulse into it to activate it.

Thank the light for allowing you to bless this person with its love and for bringing this light into theworld.

LIGHT OF PURITY - Meditation

Part four is the meditation/initiation. This can be done alone or with the teacher (recommended asthis can be very intense).

This Initiation takes you to the source of the light. It is part lightwork, part visualization and partconnection to the source of all. When done, it brings the light into your life in a way that cannot bedescribed with words. Be sure it is what you want before you begin.

Center yourself and Ground. Breath deeply and relax. Next connect with the light. See it comedown over you like a shaft and totally surround you. Now feel the flame, feel it come up throughyour feet up through the crown. Finally, see the lightening coming down through the light shaft andaround you. Let the three meets and energize you filling you completely.

Now, when you feel ready, feel yourself lift, and travel up the light shaft, flow with it, and you beginto see a huge column of light. Like a fountain it goes upward, and outward. You see it in it's totality,

everywhere, in all dimensions, all planes.

You continue in your light shaft to the light stream, and enter into the main light stream. Feel thewarmth, the love, the total joy and peace, and know that you are safe and one. Around you feel theforce of the stream moving ever upward and outward. Allow the light to heal you, comfort you andmove in you. This is the light of life.

Now, will yourself to move downward to the base of the light. You move through the immense lightstream, moving downward. At the base arises a flame. A flame of intense brightness and brilliance,which burns but does not consume. It is the flame of spirit. You enter the flame, and allow it to fillyou with its warm loving purifying presence. This is the light of purity.

Now rise up through the flame and up to where it goes into the light. You see that the flame fuels

the light. With both the flame and light into you, the lightening to come. Feel its strength, its resolveand its truth and it cleanses and heals and protects you. Feel the overwhelming love. This is thelight of truth.

And when you are ready, move up into the light fountain again, into the stream. See your individualshaft of light before you and return, to you, your life and body. Know that you take with you the lightitself, in your mind, in your heart and in your soul. You are the light, and the light in the world.

BE the light. You are the light of the world. Breath it in, in every moment, on every breath. Let theangels guide you. This is the path of light. In living this, being this, we are the light. Shine on to all.

Angels and Reiki

Working with Angels and Reiki

AngelSeichim was developed by Vinny Amador in working with the SeichimReiki or Seven Facet Seichim system and angels. The following method is onemeans of connecting to this energy. This practice can be done with Seichim orReiki. This is not a seperate system of Reiki or Seichim, but rather a differentway of working with the energy and attuning.

The information given here regarding the angels comes from Christian,Gnostic, and Kaballist sources.

Seichim Angelic Attunement

This attunement will work with both the Seichim / Reiki energy and the Archangels. Archangels,like all angels, are an "intelligence", a power and personification of a specific aspect of god, andthe energy that power represents. The number of Archangels that there are varies from school toschool. Some identify only three, while others have as many as ten or twelve. This information isacquired from a number of sources. These include Biblical, Gnostic, Arabic, Kaballist, and from theApocryphal works. An example is the Archangel Raphael who identifies himself as one to Tobiason the road.

There are four Archangels that are generally agreed upon that all practices and faiths seem toinclude. These are Raphael, Gabriel, Michael, and that most agree upon, Uriel. There is not a lot ofAgreement over the others. Every major faith seems to have their group of archangels includingthe Islamic, Assryian biblical, Jewish, Kabbalist, Dead Sea Scrolls and Gnostic Sources. From theApocrypha, Dead Sea scrolls, and other biblical sources, there are traditionally seven who areidentified. They are Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Ramiel (Jarahmeel), Raguel, and Sariel.

In the Apocryphal Book of Enoch - Chapter 20, there are also seven identified: "And these are thenames of the holy angels who watch. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and overTartarus. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men. Raguel, one of the holyangels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit,he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos. Saraqael (Sariel), one of the holyangels, who is set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit. Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who is over

Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom God set overthose who rise.

In this attunement, we will be working with Seichim / Reiki and the Archangels, with the 7 whostand before the throne. Each of the seven represent a different aspect of the source and so wewill use use them to connect to those aspects of the Seichim / Reiki source. We will be connectingto Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, Jarahmeel (Ramiel), Raguel, and Sariel. Additionally we will beworking with Metatron and Shekinah, as balancing and centering forces. There are three otherArchangels that will be part of this attunement. Jophiel, Raziel and Tzadkiel. Each of these threeare identified as Archangels in some sources.

We will begin by working with Metatron and Shekinah as the balancing of forces(masculine/feminine, yin/yang, thought/feeling) as we connect and then we will connect to thesource and with with each angel specifically. We will use chakras, colors, and attributes/powers asa means to activate that part of the Seichim / Reiki.

Information on the Archangels

When we begin the attunement, we will be joining with Shekinah and Metatron,to balance and work with the Seichim / Reiki energy.

Shekinah

Is the Angel of Unity and Unconditional Love. She is a female angel who always stays close tohumankind, inspiring mortals to be just and fair, bringing balance and harmony to our minds andspiritual being. Her name means "bride of the Lord" and she is charged with redeeming us fromevil and leading us back to God so that we may be liberated and cleansed in the eternal light.

Metatron

Is the Angel of Thought. His name literally means "the throne beside the throne of God." He isconsidered one of the most important archangels who led the children out of Israel and alsostopped Abraham from sacrificing his son, Isaac. Metatron helps us communicate with God andbrings God's presence to us and opens up our hearts in order to better receive this guidance.Responsible for supervising the Akashic Records, a special archive where all our thoughts anddeeds are recorded upon a screen of mental essence.

Metatron traditionally is the most powerful angel, the one closest to god. His counterpart Shekinah,is the feminine. The Tetragrammaton (unspeakable name of god in hebrew represented by theletters IHVH (Yod Heh Vau Heh) is a balance of masculine and feminine forces. Metatron andShekinah are different aspects of the divine as it begins to manifest. Thus the divine is neithermasculine or feminine but a perfect balance of both.

The Traditional 7 Archangels

Michael

Michael means "who is as God". He is an angel of "The Last Judgment". He is the "Weigher ofsouls" who decides where people are sent for eternity: to Heaven, or to Hell. He is often describedin wondrous form with armor and swords, and is known as a dragon-slayer. He defeated Satan, thefallen angel, by the order of God. Regardless of which major faith's angelic beings is beingfollowed, Michael ranks as the highest of the host. He is the leader of the celestial armies and isthe angel who fought Satan during the War and enchained the rebel leader. He is considered to beof the class of seraphim, and yet is also head of other ranks within the hierarchy: the ruler of thearchangels, leader of the virtues, and head of the principalities in his role as protector of Israel.Michael is considered to be the angel of the burning bush through which God spoke to Moses, andhas also appeared in the book of Daniel, where God states him as being the highest within the

angelic ranks. Although other angels have been attributed with the title of Angel of Death, it isMichael who weighs the souls on judgment day, after his battle once more with the forces of evil.He is mentioned as both an angel of destruction and vengeance in the name of God, but also as aprotector and the angel who kept Satan from claiming the body of Moses after the patriarch'sdeath. By all rights, Michael can be considered foremost among the angels.

Gabriel

Gabriel Rules the Moon, West, Water and the Cherubim Gabriel means "power" or "hero". Gabrielis the governor of Eden and the ruler of Cherubim. Gabriel is often described as a female angelwith a lily in her hand. The lore of the Annunciation is well known. Gabriel is the angel of

resurrection, mercy, revelation, and death Gabriel is often considered as a slightly morebenevolent spirit than her ally Michael. Another notable birth that Gabriel presided over was that ofJohn the Baptist when abriel came to Zacharias and told him of his coming son. Within all of thelegends of birthing, Gabriel as been accredited as the angel who selects souls from heaven to bebirthed into the material world and spends the nine months as the child is being eveloped informingthe new person of what he or she will need to know on Earth, only to silence the child before birthby pressing his finger onto the child's lips, thus producing the cleft below a person's nose. Besidesbirths however, Gabriel is also the angel who came before Daniel and told him of the future as wellas the angel responsible for strengthening Christ prior to the Crucifixion. Finally, not being allpregnancies and wisdom, she is told as the angel who struck down the cities of Sodom andGommorah as well as other places of sin throughout the Old Testament although she is nevernamed there as such.

Raphael

Raphael, the "shining one who heals", is often shown holding a bottle of medicine. He is theguardian of the Tree of Life in Eden, and the angel of the Sun. Raphael rules the Sun, the East andAir. Although a seraph, Raphael is also mentioned as being a member of the cherubim,dominations and powers. He has been attributed as the chief of virtues, although that ranking hasalso been given to Michael, and also can be considered head of the guardian angels. His mostnotable appearance in scripture is his guiding of young Tobias in the apocryphal book of Tobitwhere he teaches the lad about medicine and demon exorcising among other things. Also in hisrole as healer, it is Raphael who eases the pain of Abraham after his circumcision, and healing

Jacob's thigh after Jacob wrestles with another angel. He is also considered to be a patron of thesciences as well as medicine, teaching Noah how to construct the ark before the flood, andteaching Solomon how to bind demons into slave labor when Solomon's Temple was being built.

Uriel

Uriel means "the fire of God" or "the face of God". He is seen holding a fiery sword at the gate ofEden. He watches over thunder and terror. Uriel is identified as both a seraph and a cherub, Uriel

is most well known for his role as Regent of the Sun in the book of Revelation where he calls forththe birds of the air to feast upon the fallen. As one of the most faithful and dedicated members ofthe host, Uriel was also placed in charge of Tartarus (another name for Hades), warned Noah ofthe impending flood (although Raphael is credited with teaching the building of the ark), andattacked Moses for failing to circumcise his son. Accepted as an archangel by the Church for manycenturies, he was finally removed from the records in 745 CE as the Church became increasinglyconcerned with the prominence the public was placing upon angels.

Sariel

("Gods command") also known as angel of death Sariel works along side of Raguel. Sarial is a

seraph who is given the role of deciding the fate of angels which stray from God's path. He is alsocredited as being an angel of knowledge, and one of the leaders in Heaven's armies, his namebeing written upon the shields of one of the fighting forces. Sariel is an Angel of Guidance. He isresponsible for the lot of angels that violate God's sacred ordinances. Sariel is considered theprince of presence and an angel of healing. This celestial being is associated with the skies andholds dominion over the sun sign, Aries.

Raguel

(Raguil, Rasuil, Rufael, Suryan, Akrasiel -"Friend of God") One of the 7 Archangels listed in theEnoch writings. Raguel is an angel of earth, a guard of the 2nd (or 4th) Heaven. He 'takesvengeance on the world of luminaries," which is interpreted to mean that, for cause, he brings

other angels to account. Raguel is one of the principalities. Besides this vigilance, Raguel is alsomentioned as being an angel of ice and snow, calling forth other angels during the Final Judgmentto deal with the unpure. He is also said to be an angel of earth, a guardian of the second heavenand is the one who brought Enoch to the heavens.

Jarahmeel(Remiel)

Remiel...over those who rise. Remiel or Jeremiel ("mercy of God or whom God sets up") Leadssouls to judgment. Also angel of true visions. Remiel is accredited with two tasks. First, he is theangel responsible for true divine visions, and is said to be the angel to give such a vision to Baruchbefore destroying Baruch's enemies, the armies of Sennacherib. Beyond that, he is also the guide

for the souls of the faithful, leading them into Heaven after Michael weighs them at the last trump.Although not mentioned specifically as such, such a role would lead to the assumption that Ramielis a power.

There are several others that are identified as Archangels that we will have participate with us inthis attunement:

Raziel ("Secret of God")

One of the cherubim, Raziel is the giver of divine mysteries as well as an angel of knowledge. It ishe who led to the writing of the book of Enoch and is also the author of the tome from which Noahlearns to build the ark. This is not to be confused with Raphael, who is the angel to give Raziel'sbook to Noah, but did not write it himself.

Jophiel ("Beauty of God")

One of the cherubim, Jophiel is accredited with being the angel to drive Adam and Eve from theGarden of Eden after they eat the forbidden fruit. If this is the case, Jophiel receives also the honor

of being the first angel to be mentioned in the Bible. In such a role, he is last left guarding the Treeof Life with a flaming sword to prevent the return of man. Jophiel is the Angel of Enlightenment.This angel inspires us toward awareness, enlightenment, open-mindedness and freedom ofthought. He teaches our consciousness to discover the Light within.

Zadkiel ("Righteousness of God")

Belonging to the ranks of the dominations, and considered by some to be chief, Zadkiel isconsidered an angel of mercy. It is he who holds back the hand of Abraham to prevent thepatriarch from sacrificing his son, and because of this is usually shown holding a dagger. Also,Zadkiel is one of two standard bearers (along with Zophiel) who follow directly behind Michael as

the head archangel enters battle.

SPECIFIC ASPECTS OF THE ANGELS WE WILL USE IN THE ATTUNEMENT:

Michael - Strength, honor

Gabriel - resurrection, mercy, revelation

Uriel - the fire of God, psychic phenomena

Raphael - one who heals, love and devotion

Jarahmeel - guidance, angel of true visionsSariel - angel of knowledge, healing and faithfulness

Raguel - angel of earth, a guardian, friendship

Jophiel - awareness, enlightenment, open-mindedness and freedom of thought, and beauty

Raziel - giver of divine mysteries as well as an angel of knowledge

Tzadquiel - angel of mercy, and righteousness

The Seichim / Reiki Archangelic Attunement

Begin by taking some long breaths in through the mouth and out through the nose. Allow yourbody to relax. Feel the connection to earth and allow your roots to extend deep to the core of theearth, grounding you and connecting you to the earth. See the divine light, growing and expandingas a shaft of the purest brilliant white light coming over you. The energy of the earth rises to thelight and the light moves through you to the center. And know that you are connected to the earthand grounded and centered.

Now the angels begin gathering around you. Before you stands Raphael, Behind Gabriel, at yourRight Michael, at your left Uriel. This makes the cross. Now you form the first triangle of thehexagram, from heaven to earth. Before you Sarial, at right behind is Jarahmeel, and left behind isRaguel. Now your form the second triangle, from earth to heaven. At Right front is Tzadkiel, at leftfront is Raziel, behind is Jophiel. The hexagram is now complete. You stand with the Archangels

surrounding you and protecting you.Visualize a star shining just above your head. It has a corona of Light around it. Watch the stargrowing in brilliance while you vibrate a tone you have for the Seichim / Reiki, or just naturallyvibrate a tone. (The Tetragrammaton - Yod heh Vau Heh, or the Kaballic Name of the Messiah --Yeheshua or Yehovasha -- are good names to vibrate.) You now stretch your roots to the verycenter of the earth and feel the connection. You begin connecting to the source. Feel the sourcecoming into your crown. Above the crown is Metatron and Shekinah. The source is the oness andlight of all. Metatron and Shekinah are the duality, one and yet two. Two flowing into oneperpetually.

Metatron and Shekinah, we ask that you connect with us and the Seichim / Reiki, guide us in thisinitiation to the oneness of the source in Seichim / Reiki. Feel the angels guideing the energy. They

float above the crown, on a point on you energy body, connecting the higher source with you. Letthe Seichim / Reiki float into the crown and then through the body and down into the earth. Relaxfor a few minutes and feel the Energy pulsing in your body.

We now call the first of our angels. See the archangel Jophiel approach. He places his hands onyour head and connects you to the Seichim / Reiki and the angelic energy, sending energythroughout your body. He speaks, and says, "receive awareness, beauty in all you see. I connectyou with the Seichim / Reiki and with beauty and enlightenment. I bring the Seichim / Reiki to helpyou find the light within". Jophiel places his hands on the crown and sends the Seichim / Reiki intothe crown. See a shaft of white Light and the Seichim / Reiki coming down to your head into yourcrown. Relax and feel the Energy pulsing in your body.

See the Archangel Uriel Approach. He places his hands on your head. He connects you to the

Seichim / Reiki, and sends the energy through the crown through your body. He speaks and says;" Receive wisdom and prophecy. I connect you with the Seichim / Reiki and give you the eyes ofthe spirit. Uriel places his hands on the third eye, and sends Seichim / Reiki and his gift into thethird eye. Feel the energy pulse in the third eye and in the rest of your body.

See the archangel Raziel approach. He places his hands on your head and connects you to theSeichim / Reiki and the angelic energy, sending energy throughout your body. He speaks, andsays, "I am the giver of the Divine mysteries. I connect you with the Seichim / Reiki and give youknowledge of things hidden". Raziel places his hands on the throat and sends the Seichim / Reikiinto the throat. See the Seichim / Reiki coming down to your head into your throat. Relax and feelthe Energy pulsing in your body.
