Helping People Live Their Best Life Angela King, Chair Leadership Development Committee c/o ANCOR 1101 King Street, Suite 380 Alexandria, VA 22314 Dear Mrs. King, Please accept this letter as indication of my interest in being considered for election to ANCOR’s Board of Directors for a full term, as well as my gratitude for the opportunity and appointment to my current Board seat earlier this year. My background lies in Medicaid and affordable housing policy and, in recent years, in government affairs on behalf of individuals who are aging or who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. The experience I gained working in Medicaid policy began at Colorado’s Medicaid agency where I started as a policy analyst and moved into an operational position where I was responsible for managing external contractors, conducting stakeholder relations, overseeing Medicaid rule changes, and generating operational improvements. This experience prepared me for my transition into the private sector, first with ANCOR member Consumer Direct where I worked to grow the company’s government relations program, and now with ANCOR member BrightSpring Health Services. BrightSpring provides long term care pharmacy services, hospice, home health, neuro rehabilitation for those with brain injury, and many other services in addition to HCBS with a presence in all fifty states. As Director of Government Relations for BrightSpring’s western region, I have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of Medicaid programs, and to provide strategic guidance and direction at the state level, ensuring we continuously advocate for our DSPs and Medicaid recipients we serve. During the past five years working for two full ANCOR member organizations, I have been an active participant on the ANCOR PAC Advisory committee as well as the ANCOR Alternate Payment Model Workgroup. I have also been an active member of the Government Relations Committee. I look forward to continuing to expand my experience, scope and professional growth with ANCOR in the years to come. I am compelled to add that my experiences at ANCOR and with many ANCOR members and staff have helped shape who I am as a professional and I am grateful for the tutelage and opportunities for engagement over the years. ANCOR provides limitless value for its members and is the leading voice on national I/DD advocacy. Given BrightSpring’s breadth and depth of service delivery, if elected I would have the ability to offer continued insight into national, state and local efforts that complement ANCOR’s advocacy and visibility. BrightSpring’s diverse portfolio of service models and cross section of programs, geographies, and cultures within our service delivery are a proposed

Dear Mrs. King,

Please accept this letter as indication of my interest in being considered for election to ANCOR’s Board of Directors for a full term, as well as my gratitude for the opportunity and appointment to my current Board seat earlier this year.

Given BrightSpring’s breadth and depth of service delivery, if elected I would have the ability to offer continued insight into national, state and local efforts that complement ANCOR’s advocacy and visibility. value-add for ANCOR’s Board. BrightSpring’s involvement with various national trade organizations can also contribute to the success of ANCOR with respect to advocacy and coordination. The more than 50,000 DSP and administrative employees in our organization are positioned as ANCOR advocates across the country. In summary, BrightSpring’s resources as an organization can help support ANCOR in continued growth as a forward-thinking and strategic representative of the I/DD care system. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to serve on the Board this year, and I would be most grateful to be able to continue forward in service in the interest of ANCOR if elected to a full term this fall. Sincerely, Kelly Jepson Director, Government Relations BrightSpring Health Services [email protected]
