Winter Pruning: San Jose Municipal Rose Garden

Help prune the rose bushes for better bloom during the spring season

Date: January 12th Time: 8:30am-12pm Place: San Jose Municipal Rose Garden Naglee Avenue & Dana Avenue

Winter Pruning

Bring a filled water bottle, wear long sleeves and pants, as well as close-toed shoes. If you have work gloves and pruning clippers, please bring them, although we will have a limited amount of tools for those that have registered.

West Valley Library Book Sale Date: Friday, February 15 & 16 Instructions: On Friday, arrive as soon as

possible after school. We are putting books on tables at that point, folding up boxes, and generally putting it all together. We should be finished by 5 or 5:30, depending on how many helpers are there.

On Saturday, volunteers arrive at 8:45 (doors open at 9 for members of the Friends) and we continue until everything is cleaned up (usually 4:30 or so – sale ends at 3 p.m.).
