Your Start Something Beautiful magazine, which came in your starter kit, also has a wealth of information. If you haven’t started read-ing this guide, start today! This valuable business tool!

Facebook! There are more than 750 million active users on Facebook and it has become “the place” to connect. Mary Kay is always looking for opportunities to provide you with new ways to communicate with your customers. Consultants can have their own Facebook Page (i.e., Fan Page) dedicated solely to their Mary Kay business. However, before you make your page, I strongly recommend that you review all guidelines and social media etiquette-best practices on InTouch. There are also guides and tutorials to assist you in setting up your page. This information can be found on the Digital Zone under Business Tools on InTouch home page.

Dress for Success! What do you wear to all Mary Kay appointments and events? One of the things that Mary Kay Ash asked of us was to wear a skirt or dress to all Mary Kay appointments and events. Taking pride in your appearance is all part of business etiquette. A dress or skirt/blouse and dress shoes and your Mary Kay logo pin is Mary Kay Style!
