A PROJEKT LEÍRÁSA

A projekt intézményi előélete:

Tiszakécske Bács-Kiskun megye észak-keleti sarkában, a Tisza-partján fekvő kisváros. A megyeszékhelytől, Kecskeméttől 40 km-re

található.

A lakosság száma: 11.000 fő. A lakosság jelentős része külterületen él (Tiszabög, Kerekdomb, Pereghalom, Sárhalom)

A város infrastruktúrája hasonló a térség fejlettségéhez. Településünk vasúton és közúton egyaránt jól megközelíthető.

Az idegenforgalom miatt a lakosság száma a nyári időszakban 15.000-20.000 főre is növekedik.

A településen termálfürdő működik, mely kiváló lehetőséget biztosít a szabadidő eltöltésére.

A településen több típusú oktatási-nevelési intézmény működik.

A Móricz Zsigmond Oktatási Intézmény felső tagozata 4 évfolyammal, évfolyamonként 3 osztállyal működik. Tanulói létszám: 304 fő.

A tanítás 12 osztályteremben, 7 szaktanteremben és 1 tornacsarnokban zajlik.

A nyári időszakban táborokat szervezünk a tanulók hasznos időtöltéséhez. Igyekszünk sok lehetőséget nyújtani diákjainknak, hogy

mindenki megtalálja az őket érdeklő elfoglaltságokat a szünidőben.

A projekt szükségessége:

Fontosnak tartottuk, hogy a tanulók megismerjék közvetlen környezetük hagyományait, nevezetességeit. Büszkék legyenek a városunkban

működő hagyományőrző csoportokra.

A tábor leírása

A táborba felső tagozatos tanulókat várunk.

Időpont: 2010.06.21-06.25.

Étkezés: ebéd az étteremben, tízóraira, uzsonnára friss gyümölcs, zöldség.

Naponta 9.00-től 16.00-ig (hétfőtől péntekig) változatos programokkal, nyelvi feladatokkal, akadályversennyel, fürdéssel várjuk a tanulókat.

Helyszín: Tisza-parti Termálfürdő

A tábor költsége: 7000,-Ft/fő, mely tartalmazza az öt napos belépőt a fürdő területére, az étkezést, a foglalkozások költségét.

Fizetési és jelentkezési határidő: 2010. 06.10.

Szülői értekezlet: 2010.06.15-én a Móricz Zsigmond Általános Iskola aulájában.

Szeretettel várjuk a nyelvi játékokat szerető tanulókat.

Módszerek:

A gyerekeknek élmény a tanulás, hiszen a tábor során sok játékos feladat és ének segítségével mélyül el nyelvtudásuk. A 6 fős csoportokban

résztvevők a tanulás mellett sokat nevetnek és barátokat is szereznek. A nyelvi foglalkozásokon kívül is az egész napos program során

törekszünk az angol nyelv használatára és a gyerekeket is erre biztatjuk. Így legyen szó mozgásos tevékenységről, kézműveskedésről vagy akár

egy sorversenyről, a gyerekeknek egész nap lehetőségük nyílik az angol nyelv gyakorlására.

Az idegennyelv-tanulás hosszú és gyakran nehéz folyamata során nagyon sok feltételnek kell teljesülnie ahhoz, hogy egy diák valóban sikeres

legyen és megtanuljon egy idegen nyelvet. A legtöbb tanár és kutató egyetért azzal, hogy a siker egyik legfontosabb feltétele a diákok megfelelő

motivációs szintje.

Megfelelő motiváció nélkül nincs eredményes tanulás. Ha a gyerekek számára érdekes, vonzó feladatokat, játékokat adunk, ők maguk is aktív

részeseivé válnak a nyelvtanulás, nyelvelsajátítás folyamatának.

Az angol nyelvű mese felkelti a tanulók érdeklődését, kreativitásuk kibontakozik. Miután a gyerekek megértik az egymást követő események

sorát, magabiztosak lesznek, mivel tudják, hogy a nyelvi tartalom változatlan.

Az élőbeszéd elsajátítása mellett kap szerepet az írás és olvasás.

Elsődlegesen a szóbeliségre törekszünk. Az írást-olvasást a játékos feladatok és feladatlapok segítik.

A sok-sok játékos ismétlés segít frissen tartani és elmélyíteni a tudást.

A szavakat képkártyákkal (flashcard) tanítjuk. A flash kártyák nem kizárólag a tanulás folyamatában játszanak szerepet, de fontos kellékei a

játékoknak is.

A foglalkozásokon, amennyit csak tudunk, angolul beszélünk. Nem csak tanuljuk a nyelvet, hanem használjuk is. Óráinkon az utasítások angolul

hangzanak el, így a gyerekek lassan megtanulják mi mit jelent. Magyar kérdéseikre igyekszünk angolul válaszolni.

Ennek ellenére, nem nélkülözzük foglalkozásainkról az anyanyelvet, így elkerülhető a félreértés, egyes új játékok bevezetésénél nem húzzuk az

időt a bonyolult angol magyarázattal.

Fejlesztési célok:

Az Európa Tanács nyolc kulcskompetenciát határozott meg: anyanyelvi kommunikáció, idegen nyelvi kommunikáció, matematikai,

természettudományi és technológiai kompetencia az információs és kommunikációs technológiák alkalmazásához kapcsolódó készségek, tanulni

tudás, személyközi és állampolgári kompetencia, a vállalkozói szellem és a kulturális tudatosság kialakításához kapcsolódó készségek,

képességek. A hangsúlyt a kommunikációs, a döntési, a lényegkiemelő, az együttműködési, a problémamegoldó és a kritikai gondolkodás

képességeinek a fejlesztésére helyezzük. Kiemelt fejlesztési feladatként jelenik meg az európai azonosságtudat kialakítása, az egyetemes

kultúrával való megismerkedés, a környezettudatosságra nevelés, az információs és kommunikációs kultúra megismerése és alkalmazása.

A tábor legfőbb feladata a tanulók szociális kompetenciáinak fejlesztése. Segíti a szociális készségek készletének a gyarapodását és azt, hogy a

gyerekek megismerjék erősségeiket és gyengeségeiket, képesek legyenek erősségeikre építve a gyengeségeiket javítani. Továbbá segíti őket

abban, hogy megtanulják, hogyan kell barátokat szerezni, kapcsolatokat fenntartani.

A gyerekek értékelése:

Nagyon fontos minden esetben a folyamatos visszajelzés a gyerekek és a felnőttek számára is. Ez általában spontán is megtörténik: egy-egy

mosoly, az elkapott örömteli arcok, fülünkbe súgott mondatok. Ezek is kifejezik a gyerekek érzéseit, gondolatait, de szükségünk van napot,

tábort lezáró értékelési módszerekre is.

Mi a tábor előtt összegyűjtjük a gyerekek ötleteit, elvárásait, kéréseit, figyelembe vesszük azokat a tervezésnél, s a tábor végén egyeztetünk, mi

az, ami megvalósult, és mi az, ami nem. Azt is megnézzük, hogy miért alakult másképp a program, mint ahogy szerettük volna.

A gyerekekkel folyamatosan együtt vagyunk, velük éljük meg a tábori élményeket, így a tábor végén átadott emléklapokra jó érzéssel írunk ezért

vagy azért dicsérő sorokat. A gyerekek örömmel fogadják ezeket, elteszik emlékbe.

A tábor zárása a meseelőadás, mely után körbeállunk, s mindenki mondhat egy-egy mondatot, miért érezte jól magát a táborban, mi tetszett neki

a legjobban. Ugyanezt kifejezheti mozdulattal is.

Az igazi visszajelzés az, hogy látom, a tábori élmények kitartanak a következő tanévben is, s év eleji tervezésünkkor sosem marad el a következő

táborozás kérése.

A tábor várható pedagógiai eredményei

Kialakul és növekszik a munka során a személyes érintettségből adódó motiváltság.

Kölcsönösen pozitív irányba változik a diák-tanár viszony.

Növekszik az önbizalom, magabiztosság, amely újabb cselekvésre ösztönöz.

Csökkennek a magatartási anomáliák.

Fejlődik a cselekvő- és szervezőképesség és az önálló ismeretszerzés képessége.

Az azonos cél elérésének tudata biztosítja a magas fokú szocializációt.

A csoportmunkák során erősödik az egymásra figyelés, az esetleg periférián lévő és a hátrányos helyzetű tanulók is bekapcsolódhatnak a

közös tevékenységbe.

A nyelvi kompetencia készség javul.

Civilization

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (commonly known as the

United Kingdom, the UK, or Britain) is an island country. Northern Ireland is the only part

of the UK with a land border, sharing it with the Republic of Ireland. Apart from this land

border, the UK is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the English Channel and

the Irish Sea. The largest island, Great Britain, is linked to France by the Channel Tunnel. The

United Kingdom consists of four countries: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The capital of the UK is London. London is a very big city, 7 million people live here. The

other countries of the UK all have their own smaller capital cities, too - Edinburgh (Scotland),

Cardiff (Wales) and Belfast (Northern Ireland).

There are four big parks in London: Hyde Park, Regent's Park, St. James's Park and

Green Park. Regent’s Park contains London Zoo, the world's oldest scientific zoo, and is

located near the tourist attraction of Madame Tussauds’ Wax Museum. Hyde Park is popular

for sports and sometimes hosts open-air concerts.

Trafalgar Square is a square in central London, England. With its position in the heart of

London, it is a tourist attraction; and one of the most famous squares in the United Kingdom

and the world. At its centre is Nelson's Column, which is guarded by four lion statues at its

base.

The column was built between 1840 and 1843 to commemorate Admiral Horatio Nelson's

death at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The 5.5 m (18 ft) statue of Nelson stands on top of a

46 m (151 ft) Foggintor granite column.

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch. The palace was

a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703. It’s the biggest house in

London and it’s got the biggest garden. There are 600 rooms with 1000 windows. The palace

is like a small town. There is a hospital, a police station, two post offices, a swimming pool

and a cinema. More than 700 people work there.

Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north-eastern end of the Palace

of Westminster in London. It celebrated its 150th anniversary in May 2009 (the clock itself

first ticking on 31st May).

Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, more commonly known as the Tower of London

(and historically as The Tower), is a historic monument in central London, England, on the

north bank of the River Thames. It is the oldest building used by the English government. The

tower's primary function was a fortress, a royal palace, and a prison (particularly for high

status and royal prisoners, such as the Princes in the Tower and the future Queen Elizabeth I).

The Tower of London is 900 years old. There are lots of beautiful old buildings and six

towers. You can see the Crown Jewels here. There are twelve crowns. The golden Crown of

State has got over 3000 jewels in it. You can see lots of armour, too. You can see King Henry

VIII’s armour and it is very big because he was a very fat man! There are 40 guards of the

Tower and they are called Beefeaters. There are also some big black birds in the Tower. They

are called ravens. The ravens bring the Tower good luck.

Scotland is colder than England. There are a lot of hills and mountains here, too. Loch Ness is

a very deep lake. People say that a monster lives in the lake! Nessie is the Loch Ness

One morning Little Red Riding Hood was sleeping. She woke up when

she heard her mother’s voice.

She’s home alone and sick in bed. Please visit her this morning.

Narrator So Little Red Riding Hood kissed her mother good-bye. She took the

basket of cookies, and walked along the path in the woods to Granny’s

house. She was skipping along happily when suddenly, a big wolf came

out of the woods.

Wolf Good morning, my dear. How are you this morning?

Little Red I’m fine, thank you. How are you?

Little Red Granny lives in the little pink house. The little pink house at the end of

Riding Hood this path.

Wolf I know the house. I have an idea. Look over here. Look at the flowers.

Why don’t you pick some for Granny?

Narrator Little Red Riding Hood thought the wolf’s idea was just fine. She

stopped and picked the flowers while the wolf ran as fast as he could to

Granny’s house. He knocked three times on the little front door.

Knock, knock, knock.

Granny Yes? Who’s over there?

Wolf It’s me, Little Red Riding Hood, with a basket of cookies from Mama.

Granny Come in, my dear, come in. Come in and see your Granny.

Narrator So the big bad wolf opened the door, found old Granny sick in bed, and

gobbled her up in big bite. Then he went to the closet and put on some

of Granny’s clothes. The big bad wolf climbed into bed to wait for

Little Red Riding Hood. He pulled the covers up around his chin, and

sat and waited and sat and waited.

In a few moments he heard Little Red Riding Hood knock at the door.

Little Red Yoo hoo. Granny. It’s me. It’s me, Little Red Riding Hood.

Wolf Come in, my dear, come in. Come in and see your Granny.

Little Red Where are you, Granny?

friendly hunter walking by the house heard the noise and stopped.

Hunter What’s that sound? It’s very loud. I’ll stop and see if Granny’s OK.

Look at the wolf in Granny’s bed. I think he gobbled her up.

Narrator The hunter cut a hole in the wolf’s stomach. To his great surprise, out

popped Little Red Riding Hood.

Hunter Good heavens. Who are you?

Hunter But where’s your Granny?

Granny Here I am.

Narrator And out climbed Granny, tired but happy.

2. The Fisherman and his Wife

Narrator Once upon a time, a fisherman and his wife lived in a house by the sea.

The fisherman loved to go out alone in his boat, and sit and fish, and

wait for a bite from a fish at the bottom of the sea.

One day he made up a song to sing to the fish while he waited.

Fisherman Catfish, catfish, starfish, too.

Tuna salad sandwich, oyster stew.

Catfish heads and catfish tails.

Catfish fins and catfish scales.

Catfish, catfish, starfish, too.

Tuna salad sandwich, oyster stew.

Narrator Once he felt his fishing pole begin to shake, rattle and roll. He began to

pull in his line very slowly and carefully. After a moment, he saw the

head of a very big fish.

Fisherman Wow! Look at that! What a fine fat fish! I’ve never seen such a thing in

my life. I wonder what kind of fish it is?

Goldfish I’m a goldfish.

Fisherman What? Did I hear something?

Goldfish I said, I’m a goldfish.

Fisherman What? A talking fish?

Goldfish Yes, a talking fish. Listen carefully. I’m a magic fish. Throw me back

to the sea, and I will give you anything in the world you want.

Fisherman What?

Goldfish You heard what I said. Anything you want. Say the word, and it will be

thing.

Narrator And then the goldfish disappeared into the deep dark sea. The

fisherman hurried home to tell his wife the story. When she heard him

coming, she ran to the door but she was disappointed when she didn’t

see any fish.

Wife Oh, no! Didn’t you catch anything?

Fisherman I did! I caught a goldfish.

Wife Well, where is it? What did you do with it?

Fisherman I threw it back.

Wife You threw it back? Why? Why did you throw it back?

Narrator So the fisherman sat down and told her the whole story. As she listened

to him, her eyes got bigger and bigger. When he had finished, she said:

Wife Imagine that! A talking fish. I wish you’d asked for something.

Fisherman Asked for what?

Wife Well, you could have asked for a bigger house.

Fisherman How big? How many rooms?

Wife Let’s see. One for you and one for me. One for this and one for that.

One, two, three, four.

Fisherman Four rooms?

Wife Four rooms, why not more?

Why not five, six, or seven? Why not nine? Nine sounds fine.

I want a house with nine rooms.

Fisherman No, I don’t.

Narrator So the fisherman went down to the edge of the sea, and called the

goldfish.

Fisherman A big house with nine rooms.

Goldfish Nine rooms? The house is hers. Go home!

Narrator And so the fisherman thanked the goldfish, and hurried home to his

wife. There she was in her big house with nine rooms. For a while they

were very happy. But one day when the fisherman came home after

working hard, his wife met him at the door. Her eyes were shining, and

she said:

Wife Call the goldfish.

Fisherman For what?

Wife I want you to be King.

Fisherman Me?

Wife Yes, you!

Fisherman I don’t want to be King.

Wife Then I’ll be King.

Call the fish. Tell him I want to be King.

Fisherman How can I ask for a thing like that?

Wife I hate the life of a fisherman’s wife. Tell him I want to be King.

Narrator And the fisherman went down to the edge of the sea, and called the

goldfish.

Narrator Soon the goldfish appeared and the fisherman told him that his wife

his house, he saw a castle, and his wife was sitting inside wearing a

crown.

The fisherman and his wife, the King, lived together happily in the

castle for a while, but one morning...

Wife Wake up, wake up. I have an idea.

Fisherman Oh, no. What is it now?

Wife Go to the goldfish now! Tell him I want to make the snow, I want to

make the sun rise and the sky turn red, and the moon come out. I want

to make the stars shine.

Fisherman Oh, no. I can’t.

Wife Go. Go to the goldfish, now. I’m the King. Go!

Narrator And once again, the fisherman went down to the sea, took a very deep

breath, and sadly called the goldfish.



Narrator Soon the goldfish appeared.

Goldfish Yes? What is it?

Fisherman I hate to ask you this, but...

Goldfish Yes? What is it?

Fisherman It’s my wife, the King.

Goldfish Yes? What does the King want?

Fisherman She wants.....She wants....

Goldfish Speak up! Speak up! What does she want?

Fisherman She wants to make the sun rise, and the stars come out. She wants to

make the sky turn red and the rain fall. And the snow...

Goldfish Stop it! Stop it! I’ve heard enough.

Narrator As the goldfish spoke, there was lightning and thunder in the sky. The

wind blew over the dark water, and for a moment, the goldfish

disappeared under a very big wave. But then suddenly, he returned and

spoke to the fisherman for the last time.

Goldfish Listen to me carefully. The answer is no! The stars? The moon? The

rain? The snow? The sun? The sky? The answer is no.

Narrator And then the goldfish disappeared into the angry sea. The fisherman

went home, and found that all of the things the goldfish had given them

were gone. They were back where they had started, in their simple

small house.

3. The Little Quackling

Narrator Once there was a very small duck with a very loud quack. So they

called him Quackling.

Now, Quackling was clever and he worked hard, so he saved up a good

deal of money. In fact, he saved up so much that the King himself came

to borrow some.

Quackling was proud to loan his money to the King. But a year went

by, then two, then three, and the King never paid him back.

Quackling I’ve waited long enough. I’m going to the castle to get my money back.

Narrator So he took a sack for the money, and he started for the castle, calling:

Quackling Quack! Quack! Quack!

I want my money back!

Narrator Before long, he came upon a ladder leaning against a wall.

Ladder Where are you going, Quackling?

Quackling To the King for my money.

Ladder To the King! How wonderful! Will you take me with you?

Quackling Why not? One can never have too many friends.

Narrator And he called out:


Ladder into sack!

Narrator Quick as you can blink, Ladder was in the sack. Then Quackling

walked on, calling:



Narrator Not much later, he came upon a river flowing through a wood.

River Where are you going, Quackling?

Narrator Now, Quackling’s sack was getting full, but he thought there might be

just enough room.

Narrator Quick as you can think, Beehive was in the sack. Then Quackling

walked on, calling,



Narrator Soon after, Quackling arrived at the King’s castle. He marched right up

to the guards and told them:

Quackling I’ve come for my money!

Narrator The guards went inside and told the prime minister. The prime minister

old the King.

King Who does that Quackling think he is? Never mind. Just put him in the

pit!

Narrator So they put Quackling in the pit and left him there.

the pot!

Narrator So they put Quackling in the pot and set it on the fire.

Quackling Help! I’m in a stew!

Narrator Then he remembered River. So he called out:

Narrator Quick as you can wink, River was out of the sack. River put out the fire

and flowed away. Then Quackling got out, calling:



King How did that Quackling get out of the pot? Never mind. Just bring him

here, and I’ll put him in his place—for good!

Narrator So they brought Quackling to the King. The King tried to grab him.

Quackling Help! This is the end!

Narrator Then he remembered Beehive. So he called out:


Beehive out of sack!

Narrator Quick as you can think, Beehive was out of the sack. The bees rushed

from the hive and started to sting the King.

4. The three little pigs

Narrator This is the story of the three little pigs.

The three littlew pigs all lived together with their father and their

mother.

One morning Mother Pig called her three sons and said:

Mother Pig It is time for you to leave home, and go out into the world alone. You’re

not babies anymore.

Three Pigs That’s right, Mother dear.

Mother Pig I have taught you everything I know. I hope you are ready for the

world. Remember what I said about the wolf.

Three Pigs We will.

Mother Pig Never let a wolf in your door.

Three Pigs We won’t.

Mother Pig Good-bye, good-bye, my darling sons.

Three Pigs Don’t cry, Mother dear, good-bye.

Narrator And so the three little pigs left home. They walked down the road.

Soon the road split into three directions. Big Brother stopped and said:

Big Brother Pig Now, we must each choose our own road. Remember what Mama said.

Watch out for the wolf. Now good-bye. I’ll take the road on the left.

Narrator Baby Pig bought three bundles of straw, and begun to build his house.

He finished it as fast as he could. It wasn’t very pretty and it wasn’t

very good. But, it was his house and he loved it. When everything was

ready, he stood back and looked at it for a long time. Then he went

inside, locked the front door, lay down on the floor, and went to sleep.

Suddenly there was a loud knock.


Baby Pig Oh, my! What’s that? Who’s there?

Wolf A friend.

Baby Pig Oh, no! It must be the wolf!

Wolf Open the door! Let me in!

Baby Pig Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.

Wolf Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house down.

Narrator And he huffed and puffed, and he blew the house down. And Baby Pig

ran away.

While this was happening, Baby Pig’s brother was walking down the

road. Soon he met a man selling sticks.

Stick seller Sticks for sale. Sticks for sale.

Brother Pig I’m going to build my house of sticks. Sticks are stronger than straw.

Narrator Brother Pig bought the sticks, and began to build his house. He worked

very hard all day. When it was finished, he went inside, locked the

door, lay down on the floor, and fell asleep. Suddenly there was a loud

knock.


Brother Pig Oh, my! What’s that?

Wolf Your brother.

Brother Pig That’s not my brother’s voice. Who’s there?


Brother Pig Oh, no! It must be the wolf!

Narrator And he huffed and puffed, and he blew the house down. And Brother

Pig ran away.

While this was happening, Big Brother Pig was walking down the road.

Big Brother Pig That’s what I want. Strong bricks. I’m going to build my house of

bricks.

Narrator Slowly and carefully, one by one, the pig built a house of bricks. When

he was finished, he went inside, locked the door, started a big fire in the

fireplace, and hung a large cooking pot over the fire to make his dinner.

The water in the pot was boiling when suddenly he heard a loud knock

on the door.


Big Brother Pig Oh, my! What’s that?

Wolf Open the door. Open the door, and you’ll see who I am.

Big Brother Pig I know who you are. I know, I know.


Big Brother Pig Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.


Narrator And he huffed and puffed, but the house was so strong that he couldn’t

blow it down no matter how hard he tried. He was getting very angry.

Wolf If you don’t open the door right now, I’m coming down the chimney!

Big Brother Pig Good idea! Come right in!

Narrator So the wolf jumped down the chimney and fell right into the big pot of

boiling water. And that was the end of the big bad wolf, and the story of

the three little pigs.

5. Little Red Hen

Narrator Once upon a time there was a Little Red Hen who worked very hard.

She started every morning at nine o’clock and worked every evening till

ten.

There was a dog in the yard with the Little Red Hen. A lazy dog who

went ―bow wow wow‖. There was a cat in the yard with Little Red Hen.

A crazy cat who went ―meow, meow, meow‖. There was a duck in the

yard with the Little Red Hen. A duck who went ―quack‖. Quack, quack,

quack, quack.

Now the dog and the cat and the duck loved to sit around the yard, and

watch the Little Red Hen work. One day while she was busy scratching

in the yard, she found some grains of wheat.

Little Red Hen Look! Look what I found!

Dog What?

Little Red Hen Wheat. Some grains of wheat.

Cat (to Dog) What? What did she find?

Dog Wheat.

Duck What?

Dog Wheat. Some grains of wheat

Cat Where?

Dog There, there on the ground. She found some grains of wheat.

Duck Who cares what she found on the ground.

Narrator And so she baked the bread, and it was wonderful. When the bread was

ready, the dog and the cat and the duck gathered around the Little Red

Hen, waiting and hoping for a big piece of the fresh, warm bread.

Little Red Hen Now who will help me eat this bread?

Dog I will.

Cat Me too.

Duck So will I.

Little Red Hen Oh, no. No, you won’t. Not you. Not you. Not you. None of you will

eat this bread. I’m going to eat it myself.

Narrator And she did. And that was the story of the Little Red Hen who worked

very hard from nine to ten. No one helped the Little Red Hen. She did it

all by herself.
