Currently I’m employed as a Graduate Engineering Trainee (Manufacturing Engineer) in the reputed
firm, Tractors India Ltd.
I’ve recently finished my B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, from MCKV Institute of
Engineering, Liluah (Affiliated to WBUT, Kolkata).
I have gained knowledge in the field of engineering from my professors and peers alike. I eagerly

Responsibilities:
Cost estimation and preliminary feasibility studies for new and upcoming products.
Cost reduction of existing products by implementation of new and improved
processes and techniques.
Being involved in Engineering Change Orders (ECO), that is, any discrepancies found
in designs rectifying them and relaying information to the relevant departments.
Designing and manufacturing of tooling aides like Jigs and Fixtures that would
improve the manufacturing process.
Being involved in every step of the manufacturing process for new models or
prototypes.
Undertake Factory development initiatives for process changes and new technology
introduction.

presented at the 4th National Conference on Recent Developments in Mechanical
Engineering [RDME] on 29-30th January, 2015 in MES College of Engineering,
Pune. It was later published in International Journal of Researchers, Scientists and

Have a co-written a paper on HEAT TRANSFER ENHANCEMENT OF
TURBULENT FLOW THROUGH A CIRCULAR DUCT WITH TWISTED
TAPE INSERTS presented at the International Conference on Advances in
Engineering, Technology and Science 2014, at Munnar, Kerala.
Currently writing another paper on CFD analysis for inclined ribs with alternating
angle of attacks in fully developed flow for all three flow regimes.
Have done certified courses in CATIA and AutoCAD.
Have won various quizzes including Winners in Carpe Diem 2014 (annual quiz
conducted by IIM-C), Runners up in Prahelika 2012 (annual quiz conducted by ISI).
