"PALAEOGEOGRAPHY~ PALAEOCLIMATOLOGY, PALAEOECOLOGY" TO BE PUBLISHED IN
8 ISSUES PER YEAR
Due to the enormous increase (in spite of an evergrowing rate of refusal) in the number of manuscripts available for publication in Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology it has been decided to increase the number of issues per year to eight (two volumes of 4 issues each). This step has been taken to prevent delay in publication.
In the first three years of its life Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology has steadily increased in size (1965:338 pp., 1966:386 pp.; 1967:472 pp.), and this, which clearly justifies its existence, was also an important factor in the decision to increase the number of issues per year.
We hope thereby to be rendering a service to our readers and authors.
