BAPTISM AND BAPTISM RENEWAL SUNDAY IS JANUARY 11, 2015Next Sunday we celebrate Baptism of Our Lord Sunday. That is the Sunday set aside each year to remember our baptism. It is a powerful reminder of what God has done for us in our Baptism! We are claimed by God, given a name as God’s child, initiated into God’s family, and cleansed of our sins. What a Day! No wonder it is an emotionally-filled service. There are many who worship with us who, for several reasons, have never been baptized. If you fall into that category we want to give you the opportunity to be baptized as a part of this service. A desire to be baptized, to repent of wrongs in your life, a desire to accept Jesus as your Savior and have him be the Lord of your life, is the basic requirement to be baptized. If you would like to talk to a pastor about being baptized, please call Cindy Sands (345-7261) and one of us will call you. We would be honored to be a part of your baptism.
