Hospitality House
Hospitality House for Women has helped abused women and their children for over 41 years, since
the fall of 1978.
Support for the work of Hospitality House is derived from sales at their Thrift Store. Being a non-profit means the Hospitality House Thrift Store has few paid employees. Volunteers are used to:
✓ Process donations ✓ Prepare them for sale ✓ Arrange displays
After orientation volunteers choose a preferred area to serve and come as their schedule permits. Often our volunteers schedule so they have a friend to work with. We are grateful for all our volunteers and any time allotment they have is acceptable to us.
We hope you will join the group.
Store is open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-4.
Monday is a big volunteer day since we are closed, but get a lot done to put new merchandise out. After a volunteer works 10 hours in a 30-day period, a discount on purchases is earned. First United Methodist has had a team for years and we hope St. Peters will have a team soon.
