Aventa is observing our 60th year of service in 2017 and we will be celebrating this milestone at our annual meeting and all year long.

The date for this year’s annual meeting will be March 18, 2017 at the Colorado Springs Country Club. A full breakfast buffet will be served, door prizes will be given out and a few other special surprises are in store.Please visit aventa.com for times and agenda.

We hope you will attend this year’s special annual meeting. This event is for members only and is free. However, we are asking for a $25 per person deposit to reserve your spot at the annual meeting. You will receive your deposit back at the door. Seating is limited and reservations are required. We will begin accepting reservations on January 3, 2017. EMV Visa® Debit Cards are Here!

Aventa’s Visa® Debit Card has gotten a makeover! Aventa’s new EMV Visa® Debit Cards are being mailed out to current debit cardholders December 26, 2016 - January 6, 2017. Our EMV Debit Cards now come equipped with chip-enabled technology. This microchip turns your account in-formation into a unique code when used at a chip-enabled terminal adding an additional layer of fraud protection to your transaction.

Important information about your new EMV chip card: •Your Debit Card number and PIN will not change. More and more retailers are asking for your PIN, if you don’t know your PIN, please call us at 800.555.6665 and we will issue you a temporary PIN. • The expiration date and CVV (3-digit code on the back of your card) will change. If you have any pre-authorized agreements with specific companies to charge your account for payment, please make sure to notify them that your expiration date and CVV has changed once you have activated your new card(s). If you use a bill payment service it is also important to notify them of the changes.

• Your new card must be activated by 11:59 p.m. on January 31, 2017. Your old non-EMV chip card will be deactivated on February 1, 2017. Once you have activated your new card, you should destroy your old card as your old card will no longer work.

AventaCares Christmas for Kids Program

Delivers to Those in Need

AventaCares, our charitable foundation, adopted seven families in need from all fives service areas for our annual Christmas for Kids program.

As part of the program, families are given presents, any needed essentials, a holiday dinner and other food staples to help them get through the holidays.

The Christmas for Kids program was started by a group of associates more than ten years ago and has become an annual tradition for the credit union.
