Employee Self Assessment Process

The employee self-evaluation is the 2nd task in the Performance cycle for the employee. This task is performed by the employee where the employee creates the performance document, evaluates himself and sends it for Manager's evaluation.

Employee will be able to see the document in the My Evaluations Page.

Click on "Continue" button then Click on “OK” on the confirmation message.
Once the performance document is successfully created, the employee is directed to the performance document and can start the self-evaluation.

KPI Assessment (Goals)
As soon as the employee creates the performance document, the KPI Assessment (Goals) section gets open by default. Employee will be able to see all his goals that he has created in the goal management and approved by the manager. Any goals which is pending for approval in Goal Management will not be visible in the Performance Document.

Ratings & Comments
• Click on Goal and Provide rating and comments for each goals • Employee can click on the goal name to see more details about the goal

KPI Assessment section on the left side of the performance document shows the number of ratings & comments entered by the employee.

Note: The Add and Delete button will be disabled in KPI Assessment and Personal Effectiveness
Section Rating
The system automatically calculates the section rating based on the ratings provided for the individual goals and its weightage.

Submitting the Performance Document
NOTE: Once the Performance document is submitted by the employee, he/she will not be able to make changes to the performance document. The document will be available to the
employee but in read-only format.

Printing the Performance Document
A window opens which allows the employee to print/download a copy of the performance document with the latest details about employee's performance.

Post receiving the employee assessment document for evaluation, Manager can request the Cross Functional Manager to provide a review about the employee performance.

The Cross Functional Manager gets a notification once the employee submits the document after employee self-evaluation. The Cross Functional Manager can click on the notification from the notifications list.
The Cross Functional Manager can also open the employee's performance document by navigating to the Performance area-->My Feedback Requests page and following the below steps. • Check for the Employee Name and Document Name “Annual Performance Appraisal
Document FY: 2018-19” • Click on Begin button to open the performance document
Manager will be able to assess the employee post completion of cross functional review.

Opening the Performance document
The Manager gets a notification once the employee submits the document after employee self-evaluation. The Manager can click on the link to open the performance document of the employee.

• Reporting Manager can view the rating and comments of the Cross Functional manager.

Promotion Recommendation
In the overall summary section, scroll to the bottom of the page where a tab will appear with title – “Recommendation for the Employee”. • This tab will be visible only to the Manager, the employee and the Cross Functional Manager
cannot view this tab.
Provide comments and eligibility for promotion.

The Manager can return the performance document to the employee for re-evaluation by clicking on the "Return to Employee" button on the Performance document.

Note:
• Manager has to enter rating against each KPI mandatorily. • Similarly the manager should enter comments for all KPIs, Personal Effectiveness and
Overall Summary.

Click here to share the
performance document.
Share Performance Document
Click on “Share and Release” button to share the performance document with the employee. Upon sharing, the employee can see only the comments provided by the manager and not the ratings.

• Manager has to go to Manager Evaluations in performance page (My Team Performance) and find the employee and performance document “Annual Performance Appraisal Document FY: 2018-19”
• Click on ‘Begin’ button to approve
L2 Manager Approval
The L2 manager will receive a notification when the Line Manager submits the performance document for approval. The notification will have all the key details of the performance document and can Approve or Reject the document in the same notification itself.

The L2 manager can view all the section ratings, Overall Summary ratings, comments and the Promotion recommended details.

Approve
On approval of the request, the rating in the performance document and other details get confirmed. Also the performance document moves into completed status. Post which no changes can be done to the document.
Reject
On rejection of the request, the performance document will be sent back to the manager to re-do the performance assessment for the employee. Upon rejection, the performance document will again flow through the below tasks: • Manager Assessment of Employee • Share Performance Document • Approval Process
