I am pleased to present the 2017-18 Annual Report for the Business Career Hub (BCH). This report highlights our achievements and developments over the past academic year. The dedicated BCH staff with the support of our Faculty partners and colleagues set new records for student engagement, employers on campus and career opportunities shared with our students.

With great pride and a sense of momentum, the Business Career Hub was able to transition the Ted Rogers Co-op program home to TRSM. With a new and innovative approach, the program grew significantly to more than 600 students and enjoyed high placement rates. The team completed more than 400 site visits and heard countless stories of Ted Rogers Co-op students driving value to their employers. In the coming year, the Ted Rogers Co-op program will grow to more than 1,000 students and will continue to engage Canada’s top employers.

The BCH team continues to develop innovative programming that connects students with the skills and competencies demanded by industry. The successes of the BCH Bootcamps which includes topics such as Microsoft Excel, Argus, and Effective Presentation Skills have attracted more than 2,000 students. In the year ahead, the team will introduce several new programs in collaboration with industry partners.

As we look ahead I would like to thank our valued partners for their continued support. We look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students, alumni and key stakeholders.
