ANNUAL REPORT 2019-20 From the Secretary’s Desk The period under review (FY 2019-20) was mostly peaceful. We were satisfied with our progress. Activities were being carried out as planned. Fiscals were beyond reproach. All in all a rather placid period. Suddenly in mid-March all hell broke loose. The world we knew, came crashing down around us. We need not elaborate on the global devastation, wreaked by the Covid19 pandemic. We all are privy to that. For us at Paripurnata, our only concern was the well being of our residents. We had to take some stringent measures to insulate our residents against the raging contagion. We are proud to report that, we have been able to keep all our beneficiaries safe and in fairly good state of health, physically and mentally. Our staff rose to the occasion like never before, despite the near total disruption of public transportation and collapsing civic amenities. Qualities like loyalty to the organization, devotion to the cause and personal sacrifices of some of our personnel (who’ll remain unnamed here) came to the fore. Words are inadequate to express my appreciation for them, I can only silently admire their efforts. Prabir Basu 3 rd October 2020 Hony. Secretary
