GreekLegal IN BRIEF Annual Review 2014

Why Greeklegal? After the first decade of the 21st century, the Business Procedure has really been transformed. The economic Crisis, the
Outburst of Information Technology and some other historic facts have caused huge and rapid changes not only in the ways of Trade but also in the field of Legal Services. The new trends and needs have put Biglaw and its 150-years old business model in great turbulence, bringing to surface, serious cases of lawyers’ malpractice or, even, profiteering.
It is our strong belief that the new Trade World needs teams of legal experts that are focused on either helping
businessmen prevent problems or helping them deal with problems, but not both. There are activities that depend on competitive revenue models. Choosing one of them is far more difficult but is, also, the only effective way of serving as an objective and uninfluenced business legal consultant.
That is what we do here, in GreekLegal. We offer only legal Prevention and not dispute resolution. We possess the basis of lawyering, the legal Research, we
combine it with innovative Thinking and business Perception and other tools and we direct all in favor of the Enterprise. Moreover, we do it in the most fair and equitable way, by participating in our Clients’ business risk: We are paid only a
part of our legal remuneration upon delivery of our service, and we are paid the agreed balance, upon completion of the transaction, or any, agreed, time sooner.
We have the most serious motive to provide effective services: If anything goes wrong, we lose money and we, certainly don’t make new money. We have collaborations that can help our clients overcome troubles, but we don’t profit from that.
We guarantee that our services, if properly applied by our clients, seriously minimize the odds of anything going wrong with their transactions.
We evolve along with you… Haris Kouropalatis Managing Lawyer

Approach
How we approach Business
To us, Business should be an endless and demanding procedure of creating value for the
largest number of people and for the longest period of time. Business Lawyering should be the Gatekeeper of every relative business effort.
In this exceptional context, business lawyers have an ultimate responsibility: they must be
able to perceive the business process in order to give healthy Entrepreneurs the greatest legal protection.
In 2014 we worked hard, not only for enriching our legal Knowledge but also for growing
our specific business perception. We tried to communicate more effectively with our Clients, to become more familiar with their vision, to better understand their anxieties, to give them more and better legal tools. We exploited every incentive and, by any means, we went deeper in many aspects of Viable Entrepreneurship.

Thought Leadership
Our Vision, Business and Law in Harmony
For over 10 years we spread our message: There are few, specific ways for achieving the
best outcome of business lawyering. The bottom line is “keep on exploring Business, keep on evolving”.
In 2014 we gave a lecture about one of our favorite topic: "Legal Tools for Start-ups“, Haris Kouropalatis Open Startup Showcase #5, - COHO, Thessaloniki – Greece, May 29th 2014 “Legal tools for the achievement of a successful evolution of a Start-up. Business Structure, Contracts, Intellectual Property, Legal Prevention.”
