The series of lectures will cover in a heavily case-based, practical approach, the applications ofAbdominal FAST (AFAST) and its fluid scoring system; Thoracic FAST (TFAST) for the detection ofpleural and pericardial effusion, pneumothorax andthe lung point, pulmonary contusions; the Vet BLUE(Veterinary Bedside Lung Ultrasound Exam) for therapid diagnosis of common respiratory conditions indogs and cats; and Global FAST (use of AFAST,TFAST and Vet BLUE) for patient monitoring and foruncharacterized shock and CPR. These formats areyour new quick assessment tests for all abnormaldogs and cats and for patient monitoring. The lectures geared for the general practitioner to the specialist (emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, anesthesia, and oncology) and using these 3 abbreviated ultrasoundformats to optimize patient care and save lives!
