Information available: www.chibots.org.

American Nuclear Society (ANS) ...................................................................... 1st Floor, North Hall The American Nuclear Society develops and disseminates nuclear science and technology information. Its members work in such diverse areas as education, research and development laboratories, government, power plant operations, medical and isotope applications, and engineering design and services. The ANS display has hands-on demonstrations for radiation detection, a model fuel bundle for a nuclear reactor, a work sheet to calculate your daily exposure to radiation, information about careers, and much more. IL CHIP Child Identification Program .............................................................................. Room 218 No parent ever wants to live through the nightmare of having a child missing. Parents can be prepared for the unthinkable with an identification packet put together by IL CHIP. The Freemasons of Illinois provide FREE of charge to parents a complete child identification package that can be taken home or carried with the family on vacation. The information, most of which is contained on a flash drive, is compact and totally private. The only item IL CHIP keeps is the parental permission form.

Parents will receive: Color photo that records image and height and is digitized on a convenient flash drive that can easily be

circulated by police to the media and distributed across the state within an hour via Illinois’ Amber Alert program.

DNA Sample taken through a saliva cheek swab is the latest tool in the scientific arsenal to make positive IDs of lost children.

Fingerprints are the oldest form of positive identification since they are unique to every person. Recorded video interview captures appearance, speech patterns, personal characteristics,

and mannerisms.
