Choosing light therapy for skin rejuvenation is a wise decision, but it seems difficult to sort out all the
devices and if you’ve been wondering which light therapy device is the right one and the best one for
you – You’ve come to the right place.
Here you will see my head to head comparison of the top 2 bestselling light therapy for skin devices (Baby
Quasar vs. Lightstim), to make your decision (and your life) easier.
Red Light Therapy for Skin Benefits and Uses
• Skin rejuvenation and anti aging
• Wrinkles and fine lines reduction
• Collagen production, glowing and plumped skin
• Rosacea, redness and blemishes treatment
• Acne Scars (or any other type of scars) Removal
• Pain relief – By activating the production of endorphins
• Psoriasis, Eczema and arthritis treatment
Baby Quasar Red vs. Lightstim
1. Light Therapy – Baby Quasar has red & infrared light, amber and green light mode, 24 LEDs. Lightstim has Red & infrared light plus amber, 72 LEDs.
2. Treatment Time – Baby Quasar is 30 minutes treatment time per area, 3.8 sq. inches treatment area. Lightstim is 30 minutes too, but treatment area is a little larger – 4.9 sq. inches.
• 3. Warranty and Return Policy – Baby Quasar has 5 years warranty, Lightstim has 2 years. BUT, Baby Quasar has 1 month return policy, while Lightstim offers 3 months.
• 4. Sturdiness – The Baby Quasar is sturdier than the Lightstim, maybe that’s why they offer a longer warranty.
• 5. Onboard timer – The Baby Quasar has an onboard timer making figuring out how long to treat a non-issue. The Lightstim doesn’t have one.
• 6. Generated Heat – The heat generated from the Lightstim is a bit more intense, which may make it difficult for some people with Rosacea (who flush easily with heat) to deal with.
Price
The Baby Quasar is the more expensive one. The best price I found for it right now is 300$ Right Here.
The LightStim is the most economical from these two devices. The best price I’ve found for the Lightstim is only 249$ – Right Here.
My Personal Results
• I have to say that at the age of 40, I don’t expect to look 25, but both of these devices have helped me way more than topical treatments, and I have tried many.
• As for the Lightstim, I liked the size of the head ( 2 3/8” in diameter) which made treatment time shorter. I noticed that my skin just looked better and there was a change in the depth of the nasal labial fold and forehead lines.
• Overall, the Baby Quasar is my FAVORITE of the Red LED products because I can see MORE results in just a few weeks to skin tone and lines. It’s worth the longer treatment time and the higher price.
• But remember – Light therapy does work, but you have to be willing to spend time doing the treatments and not just do a treatment here and there, which will get you zero results.
