Anything is Possible Engineers Australia in consultation with Re-Engineering Australia (REA) Foundation, is providing an opportunity for high school students to meet some of Australia’s Engineering role models and find out why engineering is the career of the future. Students in Years 8 to 10 will meet engineers who have made their mark in the competitive environments of F1 and who have integrated autonomous robots at Tesla’s Gigafactory. They will also have access to young engineers who are starting their journey to change the world – encouraging students to understand what role they can play in engineering Australia’s future. Anything is PossibleEngineers Australia in consultation with Re-Engineering Australia (REA) Foundation, is providing an opportunity for high school students to meet some of Australia’s Engineering role models and find out why engineering is the career of the future.

Registration:

Students will discover how: · Red Bull engineered four F1 World Championships.

· A desire to understand and manage complex environments led to one students’ career in the Defence Industry.

· One student engineered a career at Airbus before finishing university.

· Studying STEM at school led to one student becoming a naval architect for one of Australia’s largest naval projects.

· Tesla is at the forefront of applying the application of digital technology.

This exciting and inspirational program forms part of WEC, and will be held on Friday 22 November 2019, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

There are no registration costs involved for students to attend this event.
