POSTLUDE
JOHN 6:25-35(NIV) “When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, ‘Rabbi, when did you get here?’ Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not
because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.’ Then they asked him, ‘What must we do to do the works God requires?’ Jesus answered, ‘The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.’ So they asked him, ‘What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: “‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’ ‘Sir,’ they said, ‘always give us this bread.’ Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”

BRINGING IN THE LIGHT
CALL TO WORSHIP: L: The Bread of Life has come among us. P: What is this Bread of Life? L: It is none other than Jesus Christ, God’s beloved Son! P: We hunger for the true Bread that will nourish our souls. L: Come, then, to Christ who feeds us with his very life! P: We come, needing sustenance and nurturing.
HYMN “Be Still, My Soul” No. 712
CONFESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY Dear Lord, we gather today as we do each Sunday to hear words of
encouragement following a week of being depleted by the world around us. Our souls are hungry to feast on the bread of your word and our spiritual bellies are grumbling and ready for a meal. As we come, we are mindful that what we want to eat is not necessarily good for us. We often choose the sweet over the savory, the milk instead of the meat. We often turn our noses at what is set before us, longing for what we cannot have. Forgive us for not wanting what you serve to nourish our souls and longing for what cannot sustain us or make us spiritually healthy. Feed us with the crusty, grainy, and healthy bread from heaven we need instead of the soft, white, unhealthy bread of our desires. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Bread of Heaven, we pray, Amen.

WALK IN THE REIGN
I will walk in the reign of my King, I will soar with heavenly wings, Walk in the reign, Walk in the reign.
I will run and never grow weak, With Your mercy and grace as my strength, Walk in the reign, Walk in the reign.
Chorus Walk in the reign, Walk in the reign, Showers of love, fall from above, Walk in the reign.
In the desert of anger and sin, Your love makes new life begin, Walk in the reign, Walk in the reign.
Let Your kingdom rain down on this place, Pour out Your mercy and grace, Walk in the reign, Walk in the reign.
Chorus

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty, Let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice. He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide, And trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice.
Chorus How great is our God, sing with me, How great is our God, and all will see, How great, how great is our God.
Age to age He stands, And time is in His hands, Beginning and the end, Beginning and the End. The Godhead, three in one, Father, Spirit, Son, The Lion and the Lamb, The Lion and the Lamb.
Chorus
Name above all names, worthy of all praise. My heart will sing how great is our God. Name above all names, worthy of all praise. My heart will sing how great is our God.
Chorus

WE GIVE YOU GLORY
We have raised a thousand voices, Just to lift Your holy name,
And we will raise a thousand more to sing Of Your beauty in this place.
Well none can even fathom, No, not one define Your worth, As we marvel in Your presence,
To the ends of the earth.
CHORUS We give You the glory,
Lifting up our hands and singing, “Holy!” You alone are worthy,
We just want to touch your heart Lord, Touch Your heart
As we fall down before You, With our willing hearts we seek. In the greatness of Your glory,
It’s so hard to even speak.
There is nothing we can offer, No, nothing can repay.
So we give You all our praises, And lift our voices to sing.
CHORUS
Our hope in drenched in You, Our faith has been renewed. We trust in Your eve’ry word,
Nothing else can even measure up to you.
CHORUS
