Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary; Who is so great a God as our God?

WHO WAS FAITHFUL TO HIM
One of the challenges of life is learning how to be faithful to the Lord, It seems a hard discipline learning how to be loyal to our great God! Never seeming able to learn this lesson, Israel suffered for years, The Lord was forsaken and forgotten, the prophets were in tears!
Moses arose and he showed Israel what faithfulness meant,
He listened to God’s Word and obedience was his intent. He proved himself faithful as a servant of God ought to be,
He was a shining example to all; faithfulness is a possibility!
Jesus came into the world and He too showed faithfulness to God, He walked in harmony with His Father, there was truly one accord.
He proved Himself a worthy Son and He was true to His appointment, His faithfulness was complete, He was never a disappointment!
We are called to learn this lesson of faithfulness to the Lord, Our part is to follow the footsteps of the faithful Son of God!
He was faithful in all His ways, from the beginning to the end, He who is faithful to the tasks entrusted, God will commend.

Dear Brethren,
REFLECTIONS ON OUR EASTER PROGRAM Many thoughts readily come to mind as we spend time reflecting on this year’s Easter program! 1. The Anticipation
a) Our series of Pulpit messages focussing on the Captain of our Salvation
b) Each message helped us to grow in appreciation of our Saviour
2. Easter Week
a) Palm Sunday Baptismal Service Such a joy to see people stepping forward to seek baptism b) Maundy Thursday The example of Mary giving her special love gift to the Lord Jesus Christ! c) The Easter Sacred Concert So many have spoken of being deeply touched by the Lord as they attended the
Concert program. d) Easter Sunday This was a good and fitting conclusion of our Easter program this year! The commissioning of Jonas Tan is another milestone in Bethany’s history.
Let us take time to reflect on all these events and let us ask the Lord to write down upon our hearts and minds the lessons He wants us to learn. These lessons may be very personal but they must be strongly and indelibly written upon our hearts!
THE BETHEL FAMILY CAMP Thank God for the Pastoral Team that came over to minister at the Bethel Family Camp. The Team chaired, interacted, led Bible discussion groups and sought to be a blessing to the brethren here in Perth!
THE THIRD AND LAST YEAR AS STUDENT-PASTOR Ben Chong and Ben Quah begin their 3rd year as Student-Pastors. God willing, by Easter next year, they will be introduced to the Church as our Intern-Pastors. Let us continue to pray that God would raise up godly men to serve Him as faithful shepherds of the flock of God!
Prayerfully, Pastor Charlie
