graduation, helped me with my college coursework, came to my graduation
celebration when I earned my master’s degree, and over the summer we had lunch
so that she could meet my son! The world would definitely be a better place if we
had more teachers like Ms. Stone. Thank you for being a part of my life!

Nominee: Jessie Cadena
Campus/Department: Shannon Center
Tell us how this person has positively touched the life of you or your child:
Every year Buildings & Grounds has the General Assembly in the Shannon and
every year Jessie does all the work, coming in early to start the coffee, set the
tables up, then takes it all down, cleans it up, we just have all the supplies ready for
him. I want to compliment him on his positivity, willingness to go beyond the call
of duty and Christ-like servitude... Buildings and Grounds couldn't do without
Jessie. Thanks for making it happen, again!!!
A Touch of Class was created to encourage students, staff, parents and community members
to recognize BISD employees for the positive things they do for children and the district.
Nominees can be any BISD employee.
