family who exist to exalt Jesus

interesting and enriching things

to do and offer as a church. But

our priorities are to worship the

Lord Jesus Christ, to fellowship

with other believers, to grow to

be more like Jesus, to do

ministry, and to share the Good

News with those around us. I

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH

First you must present yourself for membership during a worship service. Our Pastor will be at the front during the invitation to help you with your decision then you will encouraged to attend a membership 101 class. Secondly you must express your desire for membership through one of the follow-ing ways: 1. Profession of faith: If you have never made a public decision acknowledging that you have or are receiving Christ as your Savior, you will be given that opportunity. After you have made a public profession of faith, your baptism will be scheduled. 2) By statement of faith: If you have previously made a public decision acknowledging that you have received Christ as your Savior, we will be happy to receive you. It will however be necessary for you to be baptized at Grace if you have never been baptized by immersion or if you were baptized in a church which holds a different view of salvation, bap-tism or eternal security than Grace. 3) By letter: If you are currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, we will contact that church to notify them of your decision to join Grace.

Membership Class — If you recently joined Grace or you’re thinking about joining,

we recommend you attend our membership 101 class. The next class will meet on November 2 at 9:15 am in the conference room.

Volunteers Needed—to work in the kitchen on Wednesday nights and to work at the

Attic Outlet. This is a great chance to get involved. Use the tear off to volunteer.

“Live Long & Like It” Senior Adult Group will resume their monthly meal and

fellowship this Tuesday, Oct. the 7th at noon in the gym.

• Attic Outlet Pantry Need— Each month the Attic Outlet will focus on one area of our food pantry for replenishing supplies. We will be collecting SPAGHETTI NOODLES OR CANNED SPAGHETTI SAUCE during the month of SEPTEMBER. Anyone wishing to donate may leave in the specialty marked tubs in the main hallway or bring to the Attic. May God continue to bless you for your giving! (2 Cor 9:7) Thank you!
