We Welcome You to Become

Catholic! The way an adult prepares to become Catholic is through the RCIA process (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). This process is for unbaptized adults and those baptized in other Christian traditions who wish to join the Catholic Church. If you are a Catholic who has not received Confirmation or Eucharist in the Catholic Church you are also invited to join us. Our RCIA sessions begin in the fall. During the summer months we invite people to check us out. If you are interested please give Theresa a call and we will get together to talk. All your questions are welcome! Call 651-257-2474 x58 or e-mail me at [email protected]

If You Have Never Been Confirmed Please consider joining our RCIA Process

Give Theresa a call.

A Pencil Reflection I would like to invite you to reflect with me about one of God’s wondrous gifts – a pencil. Especially if you are thinking about being a catechist in Faith Formation this reflection is for you. I have always been touched by St. Mother Teresa’s words:

“I am a little pencil in God's hands. He does the thinking. He does the

writing. He does everything and sometimes it is really hard because it is a

broken pencil and He has to sharpen it a little more.”

A pencil needs a hand to direct it. God is the hand that directs our life. Pencils need sharpening and so does God sharpen us so that our life conforms to Jesus. The inside of the pencil is most important. What is inside our hearts is what God sees with delight and love. A pencil leaves an imprint. So do we with our lives leave an imprint on the world. What imprint am I leaving? What is the message that God is trying to sketch through my life? Can I become quiet enough to look, see, listen, and watch the beautiful picture that is being drawn through me?

Thanks God for pencils that show us the way to You.
