HOPE School For Special Needs is a pri-

vate school that follows an American Cur-

riculum: the High/Scope educational active

classrooms plus additional rooms for

rias and an expansive playground.

Children are assigned to classrooms based

on their age and developmental level. Pre-

school and KG classrooms are separated

into specific learning areas: toy area, com-

puter area, art, music, writing area and read-

ing areas.

The school uses a comprehensive assess-

ment tool, COR (Child Observation Record),

which is an ongoing evaluation of each

child’s progress. It is designed to focus on

the broad cognitive, social, emotional, and

physical development.

The school offers breakfast and lunch for its

students. All meals are gluten free/casein

free (GF/CF). Bus transportation is also pro-

vided by the school.

The elementary classrooms focus on academ-

ics with additional areas for Science, Math,

and Language. Each area of the classroom is

equipped with a variety of educational materi-

als and manipulatives that encourage learning.
