Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University has come a long way within the shortest span of time as world class institution. Since its inception in 1993, KIIT has been emphasizing on quality education and it was declared as a University (u/s 3 of UGC Act of 1956) in 2004. The multi-disciplinary university having 28 constituent schools is presently offering diverse programmes with 27,000 students pursuing bachelors, masters and doctoral studies in Engineering, Management, Medicine, Dental Science, Nursing, Fashion Technology, Cinema & Mass Media Studies, and Language & Sculpture etc.

The Indian Association of Nuclear Chemists and Allied Scientists (IANCAS) was founded in 1981 with an objective to popularize the beneficial aspects of nuclear energy and applications of radioisotopes in science, technology, agriculture and health-care among the academic community. The IANCAS-Eastern regional Chapter(ERC) was inaugurated on 8th February 2017 at Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar aiming to popularize science in general and nuclear science in particular among the students of eastern part of India covering Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. This workshop, entitled “ Mystery of Science” will provide a forum for students to interact with Faculty members and Scientists from Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and its units, various educational institutions and research organizations related to Wonders in various fields of sciences including Nuclear Sciences. The lectures will be supplemented by Demonstration experiments to understand the Wonders of Sciences for the Students.
