Using Mouse or Trackpad tools

Most lessons allow you to touch your screen to answer questions and move through the lesson but occassionally

you may need to use the mouse or trackpad tools to complete an activity.

If you don’t see these icons at the bottom of your screen you can find them on the menu list. For i devices use

the 3 bars; for android devices you the 3 dots at the top right of the window.

When you select the mouse icon you will get a tutorial on how to use the mouse and then will be asked to chose

whether you want to use the mouse or trackpad tool. Both work well in the lessons.

Mouse tips:

Use your finger to move the mouse pointer arrow and tap to select.

A long press and hold changes the pointer arrow to a hand which allows you to drag and drop

A long press and release around the cursor will act like a right-click to bring up menu options

Trackpad tips:

Use one finger in the trackpad box to move the mouse pointer arrow, tap to select.

Use two fingers to change the pointer arrow to a hand which allows you to drag and drop

Swiping along lined area of pad will act as scroll
