We live, we move, and we have our being because of the Holy Spirit. The

world is watching and listening and every day, believers should be under the

influence of the Holy Spirit. Think about this: we have the capacity to live

and enjoy a relationship with God because of the Holy Spirit. I am so glad

that those disciples gathered in that Upper Room. When our Lord blessed

them to go forth, He did it through the Holy Spirit. Our theme today day is:

“Holy Spirit, Fill This House and Fill This Vessel.” We are filled with the

Holy Spirit and that's why we praise the Lord and we give thanks. The

ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit is to bring honour to God and Jesus Christ.

And giving thanks is one of the signs that we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

So let us direct all our thanksgiving to God the Father, in the Name of our

Lord Jesus Christ, through the precious Holy Spirit. Amen.

To My Precious New Prospect Leadership, Membership, Ministries, Staff,

Security, Custodians, Volunteers, Family and Friends:

Thank you for these past 14 years and 3 months we have spent together! Deacon

Dave and I cannot thank you enough for your love and kindness towards us.

Every year the words "Thank You” just don't seem sufficient. You always

manage to make us feel so special. Every anniversary, we appreciate you.

Please know that all of you are so special, and that's a fact!

Thank you for every gift of love. And thank you for all of the unselfish ways that

you have displayed your love for Deacon Dave and Pastor J. Every time I think

about you, I pray for you. It is an enjoyable privilege to serve a church like New

Prospect. Thank you for 14 years and 3 months of joy. Thank you for uniting and

shining. Thank you for the sweet, sweet spirit in this place, especially during the

Revival and the Evening of Hymns. I hope you enjoyed going down memory lane

in the WRJ Chapel by looking at all the photos from all the years we have spent

together.

I praise God, who allowed me to be in this place, in spite of all my mistakes. I

thank Jesus, for speaking to your hearts through me, in every Bible study, sermon

and song. I thank the Holy Spirit, for holding me and keeping me faithful.

I can't thank you, thank you, thank you enough!!! To every family, every man,

every woman, every boy and every girl... a very big THANK YOU!

The month of November, 1998, I preached "The Joy of The Lord Is My Strength"

in New Prospect's pulpit; and I can still declare today, in 2013, that "The Joy of

The Lord Is My Strength!"

Joy To You,

Deacon Dave and Pastor J

Thank You from Pastor J Page 5
