“Whose you are ...”John 4 Verse 10 “Jesus answered and said unto her, Ifthou knewest ... The Gift of God, and Whoit is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thouwouldest have asked of Him, and Hewould have given thee Living Water.”
Again in Matthews Gospel,
Matthew 5 Verse 6 “Blessed are they which do hungerand thirst after Righteousness: for they shall be
filled.”
How is it then, that Jesus is “walking” and
“talking” with some Brother or Sister on the other side
of the globe at the same time that He is “walking” and
“talking” with you on this side of theglobe!!!??
The answer has to be starring us right inthe face! Only Almighty God could do that!!!
4
Jesus asked the woman at the well for a drink andshe began to back away, as we all so often did when Heapproached us! That was until like her we responded to
“the Gentleness” of “The Prince ofPeace.”
Whenever Jesus draws you, there will always be His
“Gentleness” and His “Peace.” These after all,are but two Fruits of The Spirit of His Holiness:
The first portion of John 4 Verse 10 (a) reveals to us,
“Jesus replied,
If only you knew, The Gift God has foryou ...”
If only we would open our hearts, oureyes would see Him Who is standingright here with us!
Matthew 18 Verse 20 “For where two or threeare gathered together in My Name, there AM I in the midst of them.”
5
“The Gift of God,” has for us “Grace”in the flesh, The Risen, ResurrectedChrist!
To quote from what Jesus said to Peter,
Matthew 16 Verse 17 “And Jesus answered and said unto
him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh andblood hath not revealed it unto thee, butMy Father which is in Heaven.”
Heaven came down and touched theheart of men to reveal The BegottenSon!
“If only you knew ...!”
You can know, without speaking sometimes, I thinkwe just talk too much. Something happened to dear oldPeter on The Mount of Transfiguration.
Jesus, Moses and Elijah all stood right in front of
“them,” not just Peter, but other disciples too! And whatdoes Peter do, he gets all excited, and just wants to build
“booths” for them:
6
Places for them to reside ... when allthe while Jesus wants to dwell in yourheart!
“Grace” and “Truth,” had come by Jesus Christ,
but “He came unto His Own, and His Ownknew Him not!”
Remember after The Lord had Risen from the dead,
He was in “The Garden,” and Mary failed torecognise Him, she thought He was
“The Gardener.”
This is right when “The Garden,” wasabout to be planted into the heart ofmen’s hearts, but that’s another story!
2 Corinthians 9 Verse 15
“Thanks be to God,for His unspeakable Gift!”
Romans 8 Verses 10-11 “And if Christ be in you, the bodyis dead because of sin; but The Spirit is Life because ofRighteousness.”
7
(11) “But if The Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from thedead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the deadshall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit thatdwelleth in you.”
There is a ton of power in the words that Jesus said tothat woman.
“If only you knew ...”
“ ... Who you are speaking to ...”
“You would ask Me ...”
“And I would give you Living Water.”
“Rivers of Living Waters,” haveaccess to hearts that are aflame withHis Love!
Jesus said, “Out of his inner most being, will flow rivers” (not trickles, but rivers!)of “Living Water!!!
8
Water always wets what it touches, and you can only touch people for God,to the degree that you yourselves aretouching God!
You cannot give, what you have notreceived! Either you are touching peoplefor God, or you are not!
Revelation 22 Verse 17
“And The Spirit and The Bride say,Come. And let him that heareth say,Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take thewater of life freely.”
John 14 Verses 21&23
“He that hath My Commandments, andkeepeth them, he it is that loveth Me:and he that loveth Me shall be loved ofMy Father, and I will Love him, ...
and will manifest Myself to him.”
9
Verse (23) “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man
love Me, he will keep My Words: and My Fatherwill love him, ...and We will come unto him,
and make Our abode with him.”
John 14 Verse 6(b) “ ... I AM” “The Way,”“The Truth,” and“The Life:” no man cometh unto TheFather, but by Me.”
(Distinctions Mine.)
There is only one way to build andstrengthen your life and that is not byreligion or religious exercise. It comesonly by abiding in God’s unchangingTruth.
10
“I AM” …“The Way,”John 14 Verse 6(b)
“I AM,”“The Way,”
“The Truth” and“The Life.”
“ ... no man cometh untoThe Father, but by Me.”
God has revealed His purposes for our lives through
His Word, the Bible. God’s Wisdom is what God
has determined as the way to bring His best out inus … His Created.
He is not just the starting point ofyour life, He is The Author and TheFinisher of our Faith, He is The Sourceof Life!
11
To discover His purpose, you mustturn to His Word, Jesus is The Word ofGod made flesh. “The Word” becameflesh and lived and worked amongst us.
We must return to God’s Word tofind both God’s Will and God’s Way.
There is only one way to build and strengthen your life
and that is not by religion or religious exercise, itcomes only by abiding in God’sunchanging “Truth.”
John 1 Verses 1-5
“In the beginning was The Word, andThe Word was with God, and The Wordwas God.”(2) “The same was in the beginning with God.”(3) “All things were made by Him; and without Him was notanything made that was made.”
(4) “In Him was Life; and The Life wasThe Light of men.”
12
“The Truth …”Jesus said,
John 8 Verse 32 “And ye shall know The Truth, andthe truth shall make you free.”
John 1 Verses 10-14 “He was in the world, and the worldwas made by Him, and the world knew Him not.” (11) “Hecame unto His Own, and His Own received Him not.” (12)“But as many as received Him, to them gave He Power tobecome the sons of God, even to them that believe on HisName:”(13) “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of theflesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
(14) “And The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld His Glory, The Gloryas of The Only Begotten of TheFather,) full of Grace and Truth.”
John 1 Verses 16-18 “And of His Fulness have all
we received, and Grace for Grace.”
13
(17) “For The Law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by JesusChrist.”(18) “No man hath seen God at any time; The OnlyBegotten Son, which is in The Bosom of The Father, Hehath declared Him.”
Psalm 103 Verses 6-8 “The LORD executethRighteousness and Judgment for all that are oppressed.”
(7) “He made known His Ways untoMoses, His acts unto the children ofIsrael.”(8) “The LORD is Merciful andGracious, slow to anger, and plenteousin Mercy.”
“The Life ...”John 10 Verse 10 “The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I AM come thatthey might have life, and that theymight have it more abundantly.”
14
1 John 5 Verse 12 “He that hath The Son hath Life; and hethat hath not the Son of God hath not Life.”
I do not want a father who is a lying, thievingmurderer, a hater of God and His Creation.
1 John 5 Verse 20
“And we know that The Son of God iscome, and hath given us anunderstanding, that we may know Himthat is true, and we are in Him that istrue, even in His Son Jesus Christ. Thisis The True God, and Eternal Life.”
“Resurrection Life,” this is the Lifethat is available to all, the only real Lifeto pulse the vitality of God through ourveins!
If you are walking in “The Way,” thatHe wants for us, we are growing in “TheTruth,” and His “Life,” is “The Life.”
15
It is the “Abundance of ResurrectionLife,” and that’s “The Truth” of thematter!
God’s Table reveals for all to see,
“The Purpose ...”
“The Presence ...”
“The Person of ...”
“The Living God!”
We Love Him, because He first Loved us ... He is thatGreat Shepherd, Who left the sheep fold and went out to
find the one that was lost ... me, you, us!!!??
We must continually return to the place of our “firstLove for Jesus,” and that’s what His table is for us!
“A man with and experience, is neverat the mercy of a man with anargument!”
16
You have “the message of God’s Love”within your heart, it’s there because He put ithere! His message is there for thosearound you!
Your testimony, is so Powerful, itcontains within it,
“The sin destroying, devilovercoming Power of The SinlessBlood of The Lord Jesus Christ ...!”
“It is Finished ...!!!”
Fact is, you are the only Bible that some people read.Your life, your Testimony, brings The Lord God ofAbraham, Isaac and Jacob to the eyes of your neighborand friends and even your distant relatives ... you’renearest and dearest!
You are what Paul said, and what I am saying right
now, “we are love letters from Godbearing Good News!”
17
Letters not written in ink, but “Love Letters”written in “The Sinless Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ!”
“Love Letters” read of all men that can see
“Whose you are, Who you bear within!”
“Love Letters” bearing, “The Love,” “TheMercy,” “The Compassion” of “Christ inyou” ... “The Hope!”
Besides that, you are an opencommunication line, in direct contactwith The Great Three in One ... Wow!!!And that’s called “Prayer!”
Your Testimony, is a verbal record of
“eye witness accounts” here on earth as to thewonders of Heaven itself!!! Heaven filled with The Gloryand Majesty of The Living God!
People will marvel that you have been and are withJesus! Scripture itself bears witness ...
“Can two people walk together exceptthey be agreed!”
18
The Two that “walked” and “talked” with Himon the road to Emmaus didn’t recognise Him till He
“broke bread with them!”
Recognise He Who is “Walking” and “Talking”with you!
He Who it is Who is in our midst!
His table, the place where He brakes bread with us, isthe place to recognise, “Whose you are!”
He said,
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you!”
But just as He asked Peter, He has every right to askyou the question,
“Who do you say that I AM!!!??”
Even this morning, “Time” has stood still for us, as
we have partaken of “Heavens Bread” and we
“behold His Glory, in The Face of Jesus,God’s Christ!” “Full of Grace and Truth!”
19
John 17 Verse 3 “And this is Life Eternal, thatthey might know Thee The Only TrueGod, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hastsent.”
Jesus has left for us two prime examples to stimulate
our “talking,” as we are “walking.” Two great
example of “communicating,”“communicating” with Almighty God ourFather.
First, is “The Lord’s Prayer,” Matthew 6
Verses 9-14, and the whole of John 17, Jesus’ HighPriestly prayer.
One of the very best exercises that you could have, isto study and read through these awesome examples of
“walking” and “talking” with Him ...
“Whose we are!”
Galatians 3 Verses 26-27 “For ye are all thechildren of God by Faith in Christ Jesus.”(27) “For as many of you as have been baptized into
Christ have put on Christ.”
20
Matthew 11 Verse 28 “Come unto me, all [ye]
that labour and are heavy laden, and I will giveyou rest.”
1“Grace” is all about “forgiveness”and “forgiveness” starts by turning awayand that’s a decision to “go on.”
The very first “foundational doctrine” is not
taught to us, it is caught by us in ourhearts, it’s a decision to want to,
“Go on ...!”
Jesus Himself ministers to our “will” by and through
The Holy Spirit Himself to implant in our hearts the
“desire and the want to” to “… Go On!”
John 14 Verse 31(b)
“ … as The Father gave Me commandment,
even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.”1Dalton Robert.B & Nicola.J, “Relationship ... The Heart to heart”
Menorah PublicationsAustralia & New Zealand (2011 edit.)http://www.menorahpublications.weebly.com/
21
“Grace” teaches the heart the Lovethat desires to “… want to!”
You cannot sit in a class of students and learn the firstfoundational doctrine simply because it is
“not taught ... but caught in the heart!”
“Let us go on ...!”
Bless God that He has made both you and meas expressions of His Great and Awesome Love.
“God so Loved …”
God perfect and complete in Himself wanted tomake you; create you … in order to express HisLove in you, and through you to your neighbour!
The reality of security can never be taken away
from you ... once you know without a doubt,
“Whose you are!”
Jesus said,
John 8 Verse 32 “And ye shall know The Truth, andThe Truth shall make you free.”
22
Free, to worship The Father, in Spirit, and inTruth. Free, to remain balanced and level-headed.
Free, from religious bondage, free, to sit at TheMaster’s Feet. If we learn of Him, we will not goastray, because He is there with us, and we are withHim.
If we stick with The Truth of,
“Line upon line, precept upon precept,”
then our path, is a traceable one. We are not
dropping “bread crumbs in the forest.”
This is what happens to those that stray and start
down “the dangerous path of error andfanaticism.”
We need to be on God’s Path, and notthat of our own “trail blazing!”
God desires to keep His Flock safe, whole,
feed and content! Built on the “Solid Rock,” fed, by
streams of “Living Water,” nourished by “pasturesgreen” with abundant growth and health:
23
This is what Paul had to say concerning what lay aheadfor us,
1 Corinthians 3 Verses 9-11 “For we are labourerstogether with God: ye are God’s husbandry, [ye are]God’s building.” (10) According to The Grace of God whichis given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the
foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But letevery man take heed how hebuildeth thereupon.” (11) “For otherfoundation can no man lay than thatis laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Hebrews 6 Verse 1(a)“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of
Christ, let us go on unto perfection;not laying again the foundation … ”
Determination requires a concerted effort, whyis it then, that many tend to see our growth stagesof development like some sort of protractedreligious exercise that needs to be got just right!
24
2Once we have become schooled and skilled in
the “Foundations of our Faith,” we can
apply ourselves to a walk which helps us to make adetermined choice to progress into the
“growth stages of maturity,”
Hebrews 6 Verses 1-2 “Therefore leaving
The Principles of The Doctrine(Teachings) of Christ, …Let us go on … unto perfection; not laying
Again The foundation of repentance …from dead works, and of Faith toward God,”(2) “Of The Doctrine of Baptisms, …and of Laying on of hands, and of
Resurrection of the dead, and of Eternaljudgment (The Eternal Godhead.”)

25
No.1 - “Let us go on …”No.2 - The “how to,” called Repentance:No.3 - The “can do,” Faith from God:No.4 - “Baptism … the waters.”
No.5 - “The Laying on of Hands:”No.6 - “Resurrection of the dead.”
No.7 - “The Eternal Godhead:”
“ ... Going on to perfection ... !”
Colossians 3 Verse 2 “Set your affection on thingsabove, not on things on the earth.”
You know, God does not just leave you there,
you believe and that’s that! He has placed far toomuch within you just to leave you there.
The wonderful thing about life in Christ is that itbecomes an ever growing relationship for ourbetterment.
The whole of Christ’s Church His Body, comesunder personal tutoring of The Spirit of Grace. Hedoes this because His desire is to see us Blessedfar beyond the level of potential that we were in atour conversion.
26
To follow the footsteps of the Master is to followthe Prince of Peace. The more that we desire to belike Him, the more He prunes, to build the Nature ofHis Character in us.
He came and laid His life down in order that we
might live. That we might get “to know” and
“get to grow” into God by Him.
Abraham, is described as, “friend ofGod;” what an awesome chap!
Abraham loved God, for Who He is,
“Almighty God ...”
This is something that really speaks to your spirit, your inner man, that is, if you are alive!
The man called, Job … this is what GodHimself has to say about Job.
Job 1 Verse 8(b)
“ … [there is] none like him in theearth, a perfect and an upright man, one thatfeareth God, and escheweth evil?”
27
No, that’s not hearsay, that’s what GODHimself said about the man!
Peter Loved God, and Loved Jesus, John Loved,Jesus, and James …exactly the same. Many, many moretestimonies ring True, and yet we struggle even with theword
… “Relationship!!!??”
But there in lies the suggestion, whynot try something simpler, why not try,
… “Friend???”
We do have “a friend that stickscloser than a brother.”
Jesus, Himself, just think about it … “Saviour, friend, sin bearer, Redeemer!” Hope that
puts a different light on the subject of, “Sin … orSaviour,” you choose “whose you are!”
As for me and my house, we willserve The Lord!”
28
There are two more vital aspects to thestabilising of our relationships with each other andJesus.
As He is referred to as “The Prince ofPeace,” we need to realise that both “Peaceand Goodwill,” go hand in hand.
This was the cry of the angels who heralded thearrival of The Christ Child. At the birth of Jesus, Heaven’sproclamation to humanity was;
Luke 2 Verses 10-14 “And the angel said unto them,
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidingsof great joy, which shall be to allpeople.” (11) “For unto you is born this day in the cityof David a Saviour, which is Christ The Lord.”(12) “And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shallfind the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in
a manger.” (13) “And suddenly there waswith the angel a multitude of theHeavenly Host praising God, andsaying,” (14) “Glory to God in The Highest, and on
earth Peace, Goodwill toward men.”
29
What is the necessity for “Goodwill?” Well,
“Goodwill,” in itself, is like a soft word;
Proverbs 15 Verse 1
“A soft answer turneth away wrath:but grievous words stir up anger.”
“Goodwill,” can be described as the
seasoning that flavours relationship where there is
discontent. It brings “Peace,” as opposed tocompromise.
That’s why Jesus Christ is called,
“the friend of sinners.”
He hates the sin, He sees right through it for what itis, but He Loves the sinner, He sees the power of potentialin each of us.
3“Peace” and “Goodwill,” are two aspects ofDivine Grace and like the wings of a dove are needed tofly strong and whole.
3Dalton, Robert.B & Nicola.J “Relationship ... The Heart to heart”Menorah PublicationsAustralia & New Zealand (2011 edit.)http://www.menorahpublications.weebly.com/
30
Jesus is “the Vine” and we are “thebranches.” Now, branches on trees are meant
to bear and produce “fruit.”
The fruit we are meant to bear in our lives is The Fruitof the New Nature.
Colossians 3 Verses 12-17 “Put on therefore, as the
elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels ofmercies, kindness, humbleness ofmind, meekness, longsuffering;”(13) “Forbearing one another, and forgiving oneanother, if any man have a quarrel against any:even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.”(14) “And above all these things [put on] charity,
(Love, God’s Love) which is ... thebond of perfectness.”(15) “And let the peace of God rule inyour hearts, to the which also ye are called in one
Body; and be ye thankful.” (16) “Let TheWord of Christ (the Rhema, heardby the hearing of the heart of hearts) dwell in you
richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing oneanother in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singingwith Grace in your hearts to The Lord.”
31
(17) “And whatsoever ye do in word ordeed, [do] all in The Name of The LordJesus, giving thanks to God and TheFather by Him.”
“Bowels of mercies,” refers to
“Mercy,” that stems from God’s OwnNature to be “Merciful,” which is that hidden
capacity stored deep within the heart of hearts.
If a Christian is unable to “be merciful”and show “Mercy,” then he is unable to
“forgive the seven times seventy!”
If this is the case, he is no Christian, because
Christ, is NOT in him: He has in fact, become
an enemy of The Cross!!!
2 Corinthians 13 Verse 5
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in TheFaith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your ownselves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except yebe reprobates?”
32
Sometime, it would do us good, to do a little
“self-examination” … don’t you agree!!!??
The Greek word for the word “Perfect,” isthe word which means to,
“Begin” … to grow up:”
The Greek, “Telios,” literally, “one thathas just now begun the processof ... beginning to grow up.”
How many, “ ... babes in Christ” are therethat you know of, that are trying to teach others to grow, when they themselves have not!!!
Or more to the point, WILL NOT!”Ironically this word, was the same word thatThe Lord used when He spoke to father Abrahamand said to him to,
“Walk before Me, and be thou perfect.”
Lord take the “I” out of “Me,” andmake “Me,” like “Thee!”
33
Genesis 17 Verse 1 “And when Abram was ninetyyears old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram,
and said unto him, I [AM] The AlmightyGod; walk before Me, and be thouperfect.”
The word “THOU,” means “YOU,” just
as assuredly as it refers to “ME!”
God Himself, made direct reference to Abram
who He desired to be the literal, “Father ofmany nations.”
The Lord God Almighty, found it fitting to wantto use this man Abram as an example of His own,
“Perfecting touch on human-kind.”
That is I believe is why The Lord said to him,
“Walk before Me,and be thou perfect!”
34
“Perfect,” a perfectly unhindered
relationship, one that is untainted by anything that
would hinder it. A relationship unpolluted by “sin:”
“Perfect,” in that sense, also relates to theHebrew equivalent, which is the Hebrew, word,
“Tamiym” rendered as “a complete, mature, blameless and wholehearted desiretoward God, His Will, His Purpose, andHis Good Pleasure:”
And this my friend, is the depth of intimacy, friendship and relationship that Hewants with ALL of us … “NOT JUSTTHE SELECTIVE ELECTIVE!!!”
Philippians 3 Verses 12-18 “Not as though I had
already attained, either were alreadyperfect: but I follow after, if that Imay apprehend that for which also Iam apprehended of Christ Jesus.”
35
(13) “Brethren, I count not myself to have
apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do],forgetting those things which arebehind, and reaching forth untothose things which are before,”(14) “I press toward the mark for theprize of the high calling of God inChrist Jesus.” (15) “Let us therefore,as many as be perfect, be thusminded: and if in any thing ye beotherwise minded, God shall revealeven this unto you.” (16) “Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk bythe same rule, let us mind the same thing.”
(17) “Brethren, be followers togetherof me, and mark them which walkso as ye have us for an ensample.”(18) “(For many walk, of whom I havetold you often, and now tell youeven weeping, [that they are] theenemies of the cross of Christ:”
36
See how this thing, “The Cross” divides, itbrings separation, it divides both to the left, and tothe right. The cross, was the thing, that evenseparated the two thieves that hung to die, thesame as Jesus:
The Cross, is the shepherdscrook, that will ultimately separate the truefrom the false, the tares from the wheat, thesheep from the goats.
There is a very relevant question that should beasked by each one that would stand to be identifiedas belonging to Christ …
“How is it, that I may knowwithout a shadow of a doubt, that Iam His, and He, is mine?”
Psalm 4 Verse 3
“But know that The LORD hath set aparthim that is godly for Himself: The LORDwill hear when I call unto Him.”
37
The answer I believe came to us in the form ofthe heart cry of John the Baptist,
John 3 Verse 30
“He must increase, but I [must] decrease.”
1 Kings 8 Verse 27 “But will God indeed dwell onthe earth? behold, the Heaven and Heaven ofHeavens cannot contain Thee; how much less thishouse that I have builded?”
We are being shaped as pillars in The House ofThe Lord. If we live up to our light, we may have
more light. If we are Faithful in a very little,we may have the opportunity of beingFaithful in much!
People see on the outside of you, apretty clear indication of what’shappening deep within: Put a guard onyour destiny, take up the “Watch-care ofThe Holy Spirit,” and “store up Wisdomand be wise!” Restore your soul, don’tdestroy it!
38
If you are not part of the solution, youcan rest assured, your going to becomepart of the problem!
Christianity, has been formed and founded in
“Love, God is Love!” Without “Love,” weare “Loveless!”
Love is a fruit, that is meant to beeaten, meant to be both “eaten andshared!”
It reproduces after it’s own kind, “Loveproduces Love, do you know, that if Goddid not Love us, we would not have awill of our own!”
“Love produces Love, and it’s thereto be shared by ALL, so choose toLOVE and show your God’s child!!!”
39
God’s desire, is for man to walkagain with Him … no less, than thecompany of God and a noble friend.
Proverbs 17 Verse 17(a)
“A friend loveth at all times, … ”
Proverbs 18 Verse 24 (b)
“ … there is a friend [that] stickethcloser than a brother.”
Proverbs 22 Verse 11 “He that loveth pureness of heart,
[for] the grace of his lips the king [shall be] hisfriend.”
You know, each one of us asbelievers, carry within a deposit of God’sGreat and Awesome Love. Becausescripture tells us that,
“God is LOVE.”
40
God Himself is made manifest in the Presence of His
Being “LOVE PERSONIFIED IN THEPRESENCE OF HIS ONLY BEGOTTENSON, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!”
Matthew 18 Verse 20 “For where two or three are
gathered together in My Name, there am I inthe midst of them.”
It follows that the deposit in each believer is multipied
by the “Power of agreement.”
Isn’t it wonderful, that the previous verse states thisas fact, because it all relates to the power of the fact of
“Love’s forgiveness dwelling within!”
Matthew 18 Verse 19
“Again I say unto you, That if two of youshall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be donefor them of my Father which is inHeaven.”
41
The very reason for me saying this, relates to theverse that follows and sets our whole walk as
“Christians” firmly in place:
“If we cannot, or will not forgive, thenwe …
DO NOT BELONG TO EITHERCHRIST JESUS, OR HIS BODY THECHURCH!!!”
Matthew 18 Verses 21“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall mybrother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven
times?” (22) “Jesus saith unto him, I say notunto thee, Until seven times: but, Untilseventy times seven.”
If your forgiveness, is shallow, yourwalk is feeble, forgiveness, has Eternaloutcomes. Forgive, and He will forgiveyou! Love, is the outcome offorgiveness, if you cannot forgive, youcannot receive.
42
If you retain someone else’s sin, you share in it’sconsequences.
That’s the reason as to why Jesus said,
John 20 Verse 23 “Whose soever sins ye remit, they areremitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, theyare retained.”
Walk in Love, and be a friend of TheLord, not just a companion.
Here’s how we can achieve this right here, and right
now, all it takes, is the desire
“to do!”
John 14 Verses 21&23
“He that hath My Commandments, andkeepeth them, he it is that loveth Me:and he that loveth Me shall be loved ofMy Father, and I will Love him, and willmanifest Myself to him.”
43
Verse (23) “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man
love Me, he will keep My Words: and My Fatherwill love him, and We will come untohim, and make Our abode with him.”
Proverbs 18 Verse 24 “A man that hath friendsmust shew himself friendly: and there is afriend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
The Glory of God, is moving on in front and ifyou would have His companionship, you must press
on hard to follow! “Relationship” requiresmaking an effort to be involved.
Firstly, toward “the cross,” but then, reaching out
away from it! God who dwells with His people still desires
the intimacy of “face to face” communication andfriendship.
When The King of Kings pays visitation, thefamily and the persons touched by His Grace, are
acknowledged by His Presence within … withoutany need to broadcast His Presencebeyond! He is there, for all unseeingeyes to see!
44
Jesus, always has and always will love thecompanionship and the company, the intimacy of
both “walking” and “talking” … with Hisfriends:
Luke 24 Verse 32(a)
“And they said one to another, Did not our heartburn within us, while he talked with usby the way, …”
John 15 Verses 7-27
“If ye abide in Me, and My Words abidein you, ye shall ask what ye will, and itshall be done unto you.”(8) “Herein is My Father Glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall yebe My disciples.” (9) “As The Father hath
Loved Me, so have I loved you: continue ye in My
Love.” (10) “If ye keep My Commandments,ye shall abide in My Love; even as Ihave kept My Father’s Commandments, and abide in His Love.”
45
(11) “These things have I spoken unto you, that MyJoy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might
be full.” (12) “This is My Commandment,That ye love one another, as I haveLoved you.”(13) “Greater Love hath no man than this, that aman lay down his life for his friends.”
(14) “Ye are My friends, if ye dowhatsoever I command you.”(15) “Henceforth I call you notservants; for the servant knowethnot what his lord doeth: but I havecalled you friends; for all things thatI have heard of my Father I havemade known unto you.”(16) “Ye have not chosen Me, but Ihave chosen you, and ordainedyou, that ye should go and bringforth fruit, and [that] your fruitshould remain: that whatsoever yeshall ask of The Father in MyName, He may give it you.”
46
(17) “These things I command you, that ye Loveone another.” (18) “If the world hate you, ye knowthat it hated Me before [it hated] you.”(19) “If ye were of the world, the world would lovehis own: but because ye are not of the world, but Ihave chosen you out of the world, therefore theworld hateth you.” (20) “Remember the word that Isaid unto you, The servant is not greater than hisLord. If they have persecuted Me, they will alsopersecute you; if they have kept my saying, they willkeep yours also.”(21) “But all these things will theydo unto you for My Name’s sake, because theyknow not Him that sent me.”
(22) “If I had not come and spokenunto them, they had not had sin:but now they have no cloke fortheir sin.” (23) “He that hateth Me hateth My
Father also.” (24) “If I had not done among them the works
which none other man did, they had not had sin:but now have they both seen andhated both Me and My Father.”(25) “But [this cometh to pass], that the word mightbe fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated Mewithout a cause.”
47
(26) “But when The Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from TheFather, [even] The Spirit of Truth, whichproceedeth fromThe Father, He shall testify of Me:”(27) “And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with Me from the beginning.”
“Friend and companion,” all this, before that great and glorious day with which welook forward to with coming expectation, suppingwith The King at The Marriage Supper of The Lamb!
What does it matter who’s house our Great KingPriest chooses to pay visitation? If He desires tocall, will He find us in attendance? Watching andwaiting with expectation.
Luke 18 Verse 8(b)
“ … when The Son of man cometh, shall He find Faith on the earth?”
Without The Nature and The Character ofJesus Christ, it would be impossible for man to be
anything but “religious!”
48
There is only one way to train for the ultimate
race in “Life,” and that is by the pursuit of
“godliness.”
1 Timothy 6 Verses 6-7
“But godliness with contentment is greatgain.” (7) “For we brought nothing intothis world, and it is certain we cancarry nothing out.”
Want to share with you a statement that The Lordhas laid on my heart, it’s been a Blessing to me, so I wishto share it with you,
“A man can take nothing with him into“Eternity,” except that which is in hisheart!” (R.B.D.)
I think the relevancy of this needs tosink home, not “what,” but “Who!” Doyou know without a shadow of a doubt
“Whose,” you are!!!??
49
Most folk who are “contented,” do not
have to “strive,” they just do!!!”
They are and by the guiding hand of The Holy
Spirit have become, “doers” of The Word, theyactivate it, they carry it out:
They are not just,
“ … hearers only,deceiving themselves.”
God Blesses, and the most natural thing in theworld for the soul that is so Blessed, is to want to at
least show some “gratitude” in response.
They have come to realise that sound instruction inThe Word of Righteousness, is the only Wisdom of Eternalvalue, because it’s valued Wisdom based on
“relationship!”
2 Corinthians 3 Verse 18 “But we all, with open facebeholding as in a glass The Glory of The Lord, arechanged into the same image from Glory to Glory, even as by The Spirit of The Lord.”
50
Ever wondered as to why some folk just havethat shine about them? They are spending
“Time,” in The Presence of “The EternalOne.”
Acts 4 Verse 13(b) “ … they marvelled; and
they took knowledge of them, that they hadbeen with Jesus.”
The same, is just as true today, right now, whenyou spend time in the companionship of
“Holiness Personified,” people will knowthat you have been with Jesus!
When people dwell in the company of The Lord, there
are only two things that can happen. Either they “revolt”against Jesus or they are “revived.”
Acts 3 Verse 19(b)
“ … when the times of refreshing shall come from ThePresence of The Lord;”
We have learnt quite a deal in regard toChrist’s inward working in our hearts. We can’t see
what He is shaping into this “lump of clay” thatis unless He reveals to us somewhat of what He isdoing.
51
Usually what is happening “inside,” is revealed for
us and others to see on the “outside.” You show byyour actions,
“Whose you are!”
There is an old saying, that, “cleanliness,is next to godliness.” Well, what is it that
the world would recoginise about “the outward”manifestation of “cleanliness” to that of “theinward” working of “godliness?”
I want to suggest to you, that it’s theHoliness and purity of He who iswithout sin!
We see The Holiness of God Personified in theman Christ Jesus. And we cannot help but be drawnto Him.
Hosea 11 Verse 4 “I drew them withcords of a man, with bands of Love:and I was to them as they that take off the yoke ontheir jaws, and I laid meat unto them.”
52
“Patience” is a pure virtue from God and itis an attribute of His Nature and we are drawn to
“His Godliness:”
John 17 Verse 3
“And this is Life Eternal, that they might know Thee TheOnly True God, and Jesus Christ,Whom Thou hast sent.”
Our lives in Him, are meant to be lived to their
“fullest” and when folk partake of The Testimonyof Christ in our lives. Then there is more thanenough for all to enjoy.
So much so, that they themselves can share to
others out of the “abundance of Hisoverflow.”
When Jesus Blessed “the fishes andthe loaves” not only were all fed, but therewere twelve full baskets of left overs to feed thestragglers. That in itself, relates to the example of
“godliness.”
53
Again, without The Nature and The Character ofJesus Christ, it would be impossible for man to be
anything but “religious!”
Philippians 3 Verses 13(b)-14 “ … but this one thingI do, forgetting those things which are behind, andreaching forth unto those things which are before,”(14) “I press toward the mark for the prize of thehigh calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
1 Timothy 3 Verse 16 “And withoutcontroversy great is the mystery ofgodliness: God was manifest in theflesh, justified in The Spirit, seen ofangels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, receivedup into Glory.”
Where there is “common-union” with
“The Head,” the Church as Christ’srepresentative Body here on earth has fellowshipregularly under the promptings of The Holy Spirit.
54
There is no hesitation in wanting to gather
together for “worship,” “fellowship,”“friendship” and “feeding on God’sWord.”
Nothing will hinder “thecommunion of saints, and TheFellowship of The Holy Ghost.”
The more of God’s Nature as revealed bythe indwelling Nature of His Son the more
“godly” the Character of the believer.
In no way is this the falsehood of religious
piety, “you can expect to find that thethings you used to do, you are nolonger able (or want) to do!”
“Mockers” and “scoffers” cannot relateto that because they are to busy being wrapped up
in “self!” A man wrapped up in “self,”makes for a very small parcel.
55
What happens to what is left once you are gone?
What legacy is there to be passed on to those that
would “live godly in Christ Jesus?”
1 Corinthians 15 Verse 34 “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge ofGod: I speak this to your shame.”
“Godliness” trains one to be “godly” it
holds the promise of “present life” and “Lifein the world to come.”
John 14 Verse 23 “Jesus answered and said unto
him, If a man love Me, he will keep My Words:and My Father will love him, and We willcome unto him, and make Our abodewith him.”
Why would holy men of old moved under theinspiration of The Holy Spirit put pen to paper if theinstructions written were not for the benefit of all?
The testimony of God’s written Word stands
sure and true for “past,” “present” and
“future!”
56
The whole of The Bible has one outcome in thelife of those that adhere and obey the instruction ofHis Word.
“ … godliness withcontentment, great gain!”
Titus 1 Verses 1(b)-3(a) “ … according to theFaith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of
The Truth which is after godliness;”(2) “In hope of Eternal Life, which God, that cannotlie, promised before the world began;”
3(a) “But hath in due times manifested His Wordthrough preaching, …”
“Godliness,” is not a “pious put on!”
“Godliness” mirrors internal attributes exposed
externally as character outworked in the life of thebeliever. These traits of character, are the Righteous Fruit
of The Holy Spirit and are “Christ-like,” and therefore
“God-like!”
57
Psalm 4 Verse 4 “Stand in awe, and sin not:
commune with your own heart uponyour bed, and be still.”
If you are not communing withThe Lord in your heart, then there isno conceivable way that you are“walking” and “talking” with Him:
Psalm 77 Verse 6 “I call to remembrance my song
in the night: I commune with mine ownheart: and my spirit made diligentsearch.”
He has made the “first move,” but the
initiative of “response” He’s left up to us.
Peter was in the boat, he saw The Lord outwalking on the water. And before a word wasspoken, Peter wanted to join Him. There werewords that rose up within his heart,
“Lord if it is you, bid me come …”
58
Right there you have it, Peter was in a boat fullof people. Fellow disciples, fellow followers. Butonly one spoke up,
“Lord if it is you …”
There are no other words spoken, there are noother comments recorded … only Peters!
It is obvious that Peter knew those waters. Heknew the depth that he was about to step into! Onlyhe had the backbone to step down,
“out of the boat and intothe wind and the waves:”
Only Peter called out to Jesus, only Peter actedon his heart impulse.
What about you? Will you …“add patience to godliness?”
The strength of a man (or woman)lies in his (or her) common-union withour Creator … God.
59
Heart attitude results in actions that are,
“Fruit bearing.”
John 15 Verse 8 “Herein is My Fatherglorified, that ye bear much fruit; soshall ye be My disciples.”
Faith in action is devotion in action to developThe Fruit, The Strength and The Character of
“godliness” within … that which glorifies and is
pleasing to God our Father.
Micah 6 Verse 8 “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth The LORD require ofthee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walkhumbly with thy God?”
A godly walk, is a walk of trust based on
patience and humility. The Lord refers to
such a walk as “good,” because that person
does justly in Love and shows Mercy, all
are attributes of our wonderfulCreator God.
60
John 14 Verse 26 “But The Comforter, which is The HolyGhost, whom The Father will send in My Name, He shallteach you all things, and bring all things to yourremembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
God, is a God of order, He bought “order out ofchaos.” So who are we to disrupt things being done
“decently, and in order!!!??”
Hebrews 5 Verses 12-14 “For when for the time ye oughtto be teachers, ye have need that one teach you againwhich be the first principles of the oracles of God; and arebecome such as have need of milk, and not of strongmeat.” (13) “For every one that useth milk is unskilful inThe Word of Righteousness: for he is a babe.”(14) “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of fullage, even those who by reason of use have their sensesexercised to discern both good and evil.”
There you have it,
“ ... senses exercised todiscern both good and evil.”
Know “the good,” in order to be able to avoid and
stay away from “the evil.”
61
“Knowing,” is “growing” and the very best
place to do that, is to “sit at Jesus’ feet” and,
“ ... learn of Me ...”
You learn, you pass it on in Faithfulservice,
Philippians 4 Verses 8-9 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report;if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.”(9) “Those things, which ye have both learned, and
received, and heard, and seen in me, do:and the God of peace shall be withyou.”
62
“Truth, Honesty, Justice, Purity,Loveliness, Good report,Virtuous and Praiseworthy.”
These are all learned and receivedby being both heard and seen and assuch, we are expected to do!
The Price is paid, “The Treasure” isestablished, Heaven has come down to touch earth, it’sseen in The Face of Jesus Christ: He comes into yourheart as Lord and Saviour, now you have this
“Treasure in earthen Vessels!”“God so Loved, that He gave!!!”
2 Corinthians 9 Verse 15
“Thanks be unto Godfor His unspeakable gift.”
He Loves You!!!??

66
Series, “Growing Discipleship …”
“The Be- Attitudes, Love‘s Divine Attitudes”Matthew 5 Verses 3-11
1.“Blessed” … “are the poor in spirit.”2.“Blessed” … “are they that mourn.”3.“Blessed” … “are the meek.”4.“Blessed” … “are they which do hunger.”5.“Blessed” … “are the merciful.”6.“Blessed” … “are the pure in heart.”7.“Blessed” … “are the peacemakers.”8.“Blessed,” “are they which are persecuted.”
If you “be in Christ,” then it stands to reason, that whatever curved balls are thrown to you in this
life, you will “Be-in-Christ’s-Attitude,” and notreact in an inappropriate manner. As hard as that may be!
“Blessed are …” relates to the present tense,to the here and now, not only to the future. But from here,to there and beyond!
This second of a three part series of Bible studies, aredesigned to help understand the development of ourChristian Character in our day to day walk.
67
Series, “Overcomers…Discipleship.”
That ye might be ... “partakers.”2 Peter 1 Verses 1-11
1.) “And beside this, giving all diligence ...”
2.) “... add to your Faith virtue ...”
3.) “… and to virtue knowledge;”
4.) “And to knowledge temperance; …”
5.) “ … and to temperance patience; …”
6.) “ … and to patience godliness;”
7.) “And to godliness brotherly kindness; …”
8.) “ … and to brotherly kindness charity(or LOVE.)”
68
Our third in the Discipleship series, is
“Discipleship that Overcomes,”
And is titled,
That ye might be ... “partakers.”
These lessons come from the second letter of Peterand work well alongside the previous series entitled,
“The Beatitudes” which cover the development ofour Christian Character.
If a man has come to the place of little or no growth, then surely, he has remained as a babe. If he has notgiven himself over to be dealt with by The Spirit of Grace, then he is marked by the arm of the flesh.
He is still a Christian, but a carnal Christian, a babe inChrist. But if he completely surrenders his will to The HolySpirit, he will rapidly and willingly choose to put down thedeeds of the flesh and become what God’s Word calls a
“Spiritual man.”
69
Series, “The Parables of Christ ...”(Matthew 13 Verses 1-53)
The disciples, they had heard His firstfour parables spoken to the listeningcrowd ... the multitude.
Jesus did not use parables in theearlier part of His ministry, and when Hebegan to use them, it was a matter ofsurprise to his disciples, who asked HimHis reason for doing so.
Matthew 13 Verses 10-13 “And the disciples came, and
said unto Him, Why speakest Thou untothem in parables?”(11) “He answered and said unto them, Because it isgiven unto you to know the mysteries ofThe Kingdom of Heaven, but to them itis not given.”
70
(12) “For whosoever hath, to him shall begiven, and he shall have moreabundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even thathe hath.”(13) “Therefore speak I to them inparables: because they seeing see not;and hearing they hear not, neither dothey understand.”
The whole thing turns on the distinction between
“earnest inquirers” and “careless hearers.”The earnest inquirer has ears to hear; the other has not.
That is, instead of apprehending The Truth, he is onlyperplexed and confused by it, and instead of going awayenriched, he is poorer than ever.
The meaning is so simple and familiar, that even achild can understand it. Being of the nature to connect witheveryday things, things that are frequently observed.
Parables, are the meal prepared for us by The Lord ofThe Harvest, He prepares a meal for each of His laborers, though they are few, all are well fed.
71
He has seen to it, that a young lad now brings to thetable,
“Five loaves and two fish!”
This is something for us all too wellconsider, they had twelve baskets full, after the crowd was fed.
Jesus took the twelve, and turned theworld inside out, to the right side up!
Many may bring the Scriptures to themind, but The Lord alone can preparethe mind to receive His Word: Our Master,
our Saviour Jesus differs from all other teachers ... theymay reach the ear, but only He caninstruct the heart! “Others may teachwhat is to be believed, but only Jesuscan teach us how to believe!”
72

73
Series, “The Gleanings ...”
Not such a strange word really, but a word which is
not often used to day. What does it mean for us “toglean?” In simple terms, it means
“to gather together.”
We gather together that which will draw us deeper
into “Relationship” with our Lord and Savior JesusChrist.
We, are gathering and gleaning in the fields of ourkinsman Redeemer King Jesus.
“The Gleanings,” was written out of gratitude formy own Salvation, and the way that He my King hasBlessed me by revealing more about Himself as togetherwe build the Relationship that religion cannot offer!
Many, many Brothers and Sisters in Christ aredesperately hungry and we who feed at His table have a
“duty of care” to share with those around us. This isthe reason for this series.
To answer questions and have all things in common
... the basis of “communion, common-union”so enjoy, grow deeper into Jesus Christ and be Blessed.
74
Acts 2 Verses 44-46(a) “And all that believed weretogether, and had all things common;”(45) “And sold their possessions and goods, and partedthem to all men, as every man had need.”
(46a) “And they, continuing daily with oneaccord ...”

Poem: “The Garden of My Heart …”
In the garden I the arrived with dawn, the air was crisp,it was still, the birds delighted the morning sun.It was quite,The Lord whispered Oh, my heart
“look, write, see and hear.”
I saw the sky,Heaven’s blue skirt. The glow of,Your Handiwork, painted in clouds. Then said He in
“the garden of my heart,”“In seeing, see, in hearing hear,”I was hearing The Voice of our God!Thank You Jesus!!!
My hand trembles at His Touch,The Anointing of His Spirit flows …I write, please Lord, please tell me more. His reply to my soul,
“You have much to hear!”
78
There is a glow in my heart that say’s, this is “thegrain” that I want in my storehouse:
Jesus used the description of harvested grain as awonderful way of showing us why it is important for
“whole grains” of wheat to have “The Husk”removed.
If grain that is harvested has “the husk” intact, then it will not be stored well for later use. As a matter offact, you are inviting the spread of mould.
Grain is normally harvested when ripe, and the
“ripened husks” are winnowed. This is the processwhereby the grains themselves, are tossed into the air andas they do, they rub against each other to remove theouter sheaf or husk.
God’s desire, is that we play an active role to workwith The Holy Spirit in and through our lives to remove theexcess baggage. To remove the old covering, so that the
“pure whole grain” will remain.
And there be no “Bushel of self,” there be no
“Bushel of former days!”
79
A bushel measure, was a standard measure and filleda woven basket made to the bushel size and was used tostore that measure in a dry and safe manner till it wasrequired to be used:
Matthew 5 Verse 15 “Neither do men light a candle, andput it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it givethlight unto all that are in the house.”
You stick a lighted flame under a dry woven basketand it will either smother the flame, or set fire to the house!
“I must decrease,in order that He increase!”
Grain, was bought to the “threshing floor,” andthere it was threshed. The sheaves, were beaten with arod or with a winnowing fork in order to separate the grainfrom the stork.
Once the pile of grain was a reasonable height, it wastime to see the leathery husks come off. To achieve theremoval of the husk, the grains were tossed into the air toland on a round cane basket. They were then flipped upinto the air, until the husk blew off into the breeze.
Winnowed grain, de-husked, and dry, now ready forproper storage in the garner or granary till the time of use.All the husk, was then burned off.
80
Matthew 3 Verse 12 “Whose fan is in His Hand, and Hewill thoroughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat intothe garner; but He will burn up the chaff withunquenchable fire.”

Series, “New Beginnings …”
1. “Incline Your Ear … ”2. “Apply thine (Your) Heart.”3. “Search for Hid Treasures … ”4. “The Fear of The Lord, … ”
(Wisdom’s Beginning)5. “The Knowledge of God … ”
The Holy Spirit has employed the use of this series toimpact our lives as Husband and wife. We have both beenintrigued as to the amount of Blessings that many of ourBrothers and Sisters in Christ seem to miss out on.
We are convinced that the reason isbecause of our inattention to God’sinscribed Word. Praise Him for HisDivine tolerance as we continue to growin Him!
Proverbs 1 Verse 5(a)
“A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; …”
82
Proverbs 9 Verses 9-11 “Give instruction to a wise man,and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he willincrease in learning.” (10) “The Fear of The LORD is thebeginning of Wisdom: and The Knowledge of The Holy isunderstanding.”(11) “For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the yearsof thy life shall be increased.”
Our format for this series,
“New Beginnings …”
is based on the unfolding word of instruction as containedin…
Proverbs 2 Verses 1-5 “My son … if thou wilt ... receive ...My words, and ... hide ... My commandments with thee;”
(2) “So that thou ... incline thine ear ... unto
wisdom, [and] ... apply thine heart ... to
understanding;” (3) “Yea, if thou ... criest afterknowledge … [and] ... liftest up thy voice ...for understanding;”(4) “If thou ... seekest ... her as silver, and ...
Searchest … for her as [for] hidtreasures;” (5) “Then shalt thou understand … TheFear of The LORD … and find theknowledge of God.”
83
We shall see as this lesson unfolds, that God ourFather places extreme importance on the area of
“our hearts,” as a point of both “contact and(ongoing) communication,” this is described byus in our studies as
“Communion.”
“NO COMMUNICATION …”“NO COMMUNION,”
“NO COMMUNION …”“NO COMMON-UNION,”
“NO COMMUNION ...”“NO UNION!”
