separation bumps at IP2 was due to the gain depletion of the MCPs at the center of the measurement aperture

Uncorrected data and indicates a vertical beam size increase of 16% or emittance increase of 35% whenbump is removed
Same data with gain and offset corrections. Now the size change is 5%, about the scatter in shot-shot measurements

Each individual ac dipole DSA response
Conclusion:
• H DSA response is dueto the difference of roll of each ac dipole
• took both 1024 turn by turn bpm data and million turn bpm data for all cases. Offline analysis to extract the roll of each ac dipole

Checked stability of corrector power supplies Yo5-tv3, yi6-tv2 and yi6-tv4 current reproducibility reaches the power
supply regulation specs, i.e. +-50A/2^12= 24 mA
reproducibility of bump settings are limited by corrector power supply controller resolution

• PI: R. Calaga, Y. Luo, S. White, M. Bai• ~40% chromatic beta beat was observed during 250 GeV pp run in 2009 • Two correction techniques:
• adjust phase advance between IP6 and IP8: R. Calaga• correct non-linear chromaticity: Y. Luo
• Measured on-momentum optics• ~ 20% beta beat(peak) in both rings• Blue beta* Yellow:
• first attempt of radial steering killed beam• orbit xmean wasn’t properly zeroed before activating radial steering
