API 16D BOP Firesafe Control Hose Assemblies
API 16D Firesafe hose assemblies are designed to operate in crisis conditionswhere fire or flames are present. The assemblies are designed to hold fullworking pressure and allow continued operation of the BOP control systems
even in the harshest of fires.
Specified Standard - API 16D 1st Edition - Control Systems for Drilling WellControl Equipment Flame, tested to 700C for 5 minutes.
EnerMech has now added API 16D BOP hose assemblies to theircapability, and the following services are now available:
Product supply Assemblies in sizes to 2 for high pressurehydraulic control lines for use in blow-out prevention (BOP) systemscan now be supplied.
On-board Hose Integrity Management Bi-annual inspectionsas part of a complete hose management package. Specialistinspection engineers visually check your assemblies for defects orsigns of degradation. Unexpected failures of assemblies can be verycostly in terms of downtime, lost production, safety of personnel,leaks to the environment.
All assemblies can be recorded in an online hose managementapplication (OHM) accessed through any web browser, as part ofEnerMech LIVE where customers can view a detailed database ofproduct by asset information.
Pressure testing and recertification Stay in compliance withdrilling industry standards. With external examinations, integrityinspections of couplings, certified proof pressure testing anddisposal of assemblies at end of service life.
