1st Issue

To ensure our sustainable impactful projects can be imple-mented, UNITY is the most crucial element to our organization. Therefore we encouraged Local Organizations to join-effort and combine ideas for even better sustainable impactful projects. A truly impactful project will involve not only active citizens from JCI. Thus, I believe we need UNITY not only among ourselves, but also among the private and public sectors. With the support from private and public sectors, it will be easier for us to achieve higher targets, and the projects should be a better one. We are encouraging our new members and senior members to share their testimonial and passion with all of us. We created a platform to share their thoughts to everyone, hoping to motivate all our members to create more positive changes. Apart from that, we are also promoting Public Speaking, Debate, and Parliamentary Procedures. I believe that you

should have heard about , the three most important

skills learnt in JCI. Area Peninsular North is very keen in promot-ing these trainings among our members, or even to our JCI friends. I know it is a big dream, and we need more time to achieve them. With your support, I believe we will be able to achieve more, making 2015 a fruitful year for all Local Organizations in Area Peninsular North. Warmest greeting from Rain Town, Taiping! It is my great pleasure to be elected as 2015 National Vice President and assigned to Area Peninsular North. I would like to take this op-portunity to thank all members from JCI Malay-sia who are willing to give me an opportunity to serve as National Officer in year 2015. It is not an easy task, but I will do the best of my ability to serve in this wonderful organization. Besides that, my sincere appreciation also goes to my assigned Local Organizations, I would like to thank to their support, cooperation and have faith in me. Lastly, let us work together to cre-ate POSITIVE CHANGE and SUSTAINABLE IMPACT to the local community and brings our Local Organization members to a greater height in year 2015.

Mass CPR Carnival 2015 Date: March 15, 2015 (Sunday) Venue: Han Chiang High School, Jalan Han Chiang MORE than 6,700 people in Penang took part in a mass cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) session helping the event to enter the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest of such gathering in the country. JCI Malaysia members were glad that we could taking part in this event.

Local Secretary Training Local Secretary Training module was introduced and con-ducted in by National Secretary General Nurul. This training session aims to educate the local secretaries on how to be an effective secretary as they work towards achieving the Most Outstanding Local Secretary Award. In addition, detailed briefing of the newly revamped 100% Efficiency, Top 10 Local Organization Award and National President Incentive

Awards were also briefed to the Secretaries, Presidents and Local Officers present. Newly developed templates for local or-ganization's references have been uploaded to JCI Malaysia Google Drive. All members are welcomed to browse through and download the relevant templates to assist in their Local Organizations management and activities.
