Policy development – does it affect me?

• Recent policy changes important to the Pacific

prop-007-v001 Private customer assignment recordsCustomer assignment records by default will no longer be publicly accessible in the APNIC database. Registrations must be stored ‘privately’ in MyAPNIC

Implementation is scheduled Sept 2004 - this will affect you!

prop-014-v001 Lowering IPv4 minimum allocation size & initial allocation criteria in AP regionMakes it easier for smaller ISPs to qualify for IP addresses Good news for the Islands!
