• Your local council has an open day
• They have invited all the new residents so they can find out about recycling in the area
• They want YOU to make a presentation of the current services for recycling

What you need to do
• Research the range of services your local council offers and put your ideas into a five minute presentation
• To do this, search on the internet for your council (http://www.redbridge.gov.uk/)

Now find out:
• The sorts of items that can be recycled in your area
• What is collected from your home for recycling
• When the collections are
• What people can do with big items for recycling

Include in your presentation:
• Why recycling is important
• How your local council collects waste for recycling
