Arabian Adventure—Wednesday 19th December
As a Christmas treat for the children we have arranged a theatre company to visit and perform “Arabian Adventure”. Inspired from “Tales from the Arabian Nights” The beautiful Princess
Samaris, daughter to the Sultan, outwits the marriage plans of the evil sorcerer Lord Ben Abu, who then declares war on the peaceful kingdom of Kazabazoo. An Arabian adventure that’s
packed full of comedy and excitement.

Last Tuesday children from Nursery and Year 1 visited Birches Val-ley for the morning. Nursery children went to find the Gruffalo and Year 1 went in search of the Three Bears chairs and also took a lovely sensory walk. Big Talk Homework Reception
We began last week thinking about being kind to others and creating our own buckets of kindness. Our writing focus last week was a
character description from the book by Raymond Briggs ‘The snowman’. In maths, we focused on 2d shapes and their properties.
On Friday it was Children in Need day and we experienced a variety of activities.
Please could you talk with your child about the snowy day picture. Can they say two sentences to describe what they can see?
