Leading a team of District Programme officers, Health coordinator , and Water and Sanitation Coordinator to successfully support seven critical districts of Bihar through the key interventions – Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Day(VHSND) , Family Friendly Health Initiative, Nursing Skill Lab , Gram Varta , Uddeepan Kendras( Strengthened Nodal AWCs), Community Led Total Sanitation, Smart Water System, Gender and VAW(Violence Against women). Successfully supporting in district planning, monitoring and evaluation , situation analysis and gap assessment, capacity building and facilitating system strengthening by catalyzing sustainable regularization of District convergence forums, DWSC, Regional and District Quality Assurance Committees , resulting in

Worked as consultant from 21 Oct – 28th Feb 2013 with an NGO Uddeshya Bharti , a member of Voluntary Forum for Education, Bihar, and supported in developing advocacy paper on ‘Quality of Universal Education’.

Worked as District Programme officer USAID/ Vistaar Project, Intra Health International Inc, Koderma (Jharkhand) - since 16thFeb 2009 to 20th Oct 2012 –Provided technical Assistance to the government ‘to improve the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women and children under two years’ and facilitating of the training on Skill Birth Attendance and the supportive supervision of the trained SBAs by their supervisors. Have successfully provided technical assistance to the government departments on evidence- based policy advocacy, assisted the government in the system strengthening, development of the district health action plan and the convergence of the departments by formation and conduct of

the district and sub-district level monitoring committees for effective supportive supervision and feedback.

Provided leadership to the TA agency (partner NGO) for improved planning and implementation of the technical assistance interventions, monitoring and feedback of maternal and childhood nutrition programmes.

Other Areas of Major Achievements

Worked as Training Coordinator, Bihar since May 2008 for Agragami India (an affiliate of Pathfinder International): Managed all technical and quality aspects of training by leading a team of associate trainers, led the team in development of modules, identifying and coordinating with the subject matter specialist and functioned as the master trainer on RH .

Worked as Consultant with Health wing of UNICEF from April 2002 –December 2007

A. Dy. Sub Regional Coordinator (SM net for Polio) (reporting to the Polio Coordinator, Bihar) from NOVEMBER 2006 –December 2007As the SRC of Koshi Sub-Region of Bihar (consisting of Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura and Khagaria districts) .Successfully accomplished the main responsibilities of:

Advocacy and Networking Team leadership Capacity building Leading the campaign in the sub- region Monitoring , evaluation and feedback at proper platforms

It was during this period that all the stakeholders like Social Mobilization Network of UNICEF, NPSP, IAP, Health, ICDS and WASH of the Government of Bihar developed a synergistic approach towards the campaign and the required output of reaching the unreached and issue of refusal to the campaign was addressed successfully. .

B. Social Mobilization Coordinator, Samastipur and Patna(January 2005- November 2006)

Provided leadership to the team of Block Mobilization Coordinators for the development of community ownership of the Polio Eradication campaign and Routine Immunization.

Development of issue based effective partnership which proved crucial in addressing the refusal among the underserved communities towards the Polio Campaign.
