Note: It is preferable to obtain an unofficial copy of your transcripts for submission during the UF application process. The office that handles our admissions cannot see your application until your unofficial transcripts are uploaded to the UF application portal or the official ones arrive and are forwarded from the university’s main admissions office.

Indicate “Certificate” Application

1. Go to admissions.ufl.edu/start

2. Navigate down the page and select the applicable student type within the “Graduate Certificate Application” section.

Create a Temporary Account

3. Hover over the hyperlink and select the “Create a new user account” link.

Note: If you have never attended or applied to UF, make sure to mark both questions as “No” in the “UFID” section so that the system will create one for you.

6. A new “Non-Florida Resident” tab will appear in the section navigation.

8. Select the box indicating your status and then click on the “Save” button located on the bottom right of the page.

Application Summary & Fee Payment

1. Review your application in the “Application Summary” tab and then submit.

Note: all orange tabs must be blue to submit your application

2. Once submitted you will be prompted to pay the $30.00 application fee.

Note: Please pay online using a credit card as making a payment through mail will delay the processing of your application. UF does charge $1.75 credit card fee.

REMINDER: Before you submit the online application please make sure you have attached a PDF copy of your unofficial transcripts.
