Job Description The Application Integration Specialist (AIS) is an important part of the Solution Engineering and Training Team and is responsible for being the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Trainer for integration with the primary applications that our customers use. The top applications and vendors we’ve identified to date are O-Calc Pro, SPIDACalc, ESRI (geo database and .shp files), Autodesk (AutoCAD and AutoCAD Maps 3D), Smallworld and various iterations of Excel files that are provided by pole owners for new attachment permit requests. The AIS will possess and develop functional knowledge of these applications and interface with Product Management, Solution Engineering and Customers. The mission of the AIS is to ensure that the integration between MapSight and these applications enables our customers to consistently reduce cycle time associated with migrating data from field collection to deriving answers or visualizing information in their applications of choice. The AIS must be a team player and establish and maintain strong relationships across the ikeGPS Sales, Solution Engineering and Product Management teams. As a member of the Sales organization the individual in this position will be responsible for helping sales teams meet their revenue commitments by delivering demonstrations of our integration with key applications and providing a timely response to inquiries from sales about prospective integration with applications that are not commercially available. In the event that an opportunity requires new integration, the AIS will be responsible for scoping the integration and working with internal and contracted resources to deliver the integration in time to meet revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in fielding utility poles, integrating data into one or more of our target applications and use of these applications in the context of solving specific business problems or completing a business process such as new attachment permitting.

Responsibilities • Establish and maintain functional knowledge of key customer applications • Deliver web-based and in-person demonstrations of how MapSight integrates with key customer

applications and how MapSight data is presented in these applications • Provide clear written and verbal communication that describes future integration requirements • Ensure future integration requirements are clearly communicated amongst Product

Management, Sales and 3rd party technical contractors • Secure agreements about timing from Product Management, Sales and 3rd party technical

contractors • Support Sales Team in preparation of quotations, proposals and presentations relevant to

MapSight integration with customer applications • Deliver training to Solution Engineers and Trainers so that they are able to demonstrate

MapSight integration to prospective customers and customers during training sessions • Coordinate with Product Marketing to ensure that MapSight integration with customer

applications is represented correctly in marketing promotions and materials • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education Requirements The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in fielding utility poles, integrating data into one or more of our target applications and use of these applications in the context of solving specific business problems or completing a business process such as new attachment permitting. Experience with one or more pole loading applications is preferred. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong written

   

and verbal communication skills and have a proven track record of aligning priorities of multiple people to deliver results in time to meet business objectives. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, reports and Market Requirement Documents. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate integration obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for light travel. • Resourceful with impeccable communication skills. • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and lead management applications

(SalesForce.com) is a plus • Substantial experience in fielding utility poles using MapSight or some other technology or

combination of technologies • Substantial experience with integrating data into one or more of our target applications • Substantial experience with using one or more target applications in the context of solving

specific business problems or completing a business process such as new attachment permitting • Experience with one or more pole loading applications such as O-Calc Pro is preferred • 5+ years previous systems integration customer support/sales/marketing experience and

demonstrated initiative are strongly preferred • Located in Colorado is strongly preferred.
