Partnership Example

Ascel Bio Corporation provides infectious disease forecasting and outbreak warnings as a service for hospitals, public health, government agencies, and risk managers.

Ascel Bio left Colorado to come to Reno to partner with the DRI AIC and UNR School of Public Health.

This has the potential to make Nevada the worldwide center for disease forecasting.

Ascel Bio has offered DRI an equity stake in the company for AIC applied research services.

Market reports are predicting that the Infectious disease diagnostic (IDD) market is estimated to reach $18 billion by 2019.
