The following was done during the appraisal period :1. Joined ALtisource in February 2015. In just about 8 months, I did Requirement Gathering, Client Interaction, Use Cases, BRD Creation, Refinement, User Story Creation, support during development and UAT phases for the following projects.Also did documentation for a few projects- Ticklers/Letter demand/Re demand/Expiry scenarios :2361,2263, 2830- (Research on Project before it was closed off by BU) :2363- Project closed after completing the BRD. Part of the requirements were merged with MTS 2357(POC claim number generation field) and the other requirements were closed as it was considered more appropriate to shift these requirements into Equator. :2495 (Refinement to multiple teams- Completed the BRD and the project is ready to be moved to dev):1674- Super Lien/ Non super Lien states:1884- AUtomation of Bulk Payment Upload- Created User Stories and gave the demo presentation to the client even though it was a Solution Design project- beyond the scope of my work responsibilitites. :2932- WV FB to IB code conversion(Project BRD complete- Dev ready) :2277- ACT PA Letters Implementation(Project ready for dev):1123- MD NOI Letters distribution(In Dev):1115, 1331- Created BRDs which underwent a series of changes. Also created documents related to the letter demand/re-demand/expiry processes. :2357- POC Automation project- Created a child BRD for the overall project. Worked on the Service transferred loan and the Form 410 part of the POC. Also, for this project, I had recommended a key approach for the designing of the soultion(using transaction history instead of individual field references) for calculations of Total Debt, total arrears etc. for accurate calculations, which was adopted by the team later. My recommendations on the approach was appreciated both by the team members and my manager Muthu. :Research on projects-related the Short Sale/Deed in Lieu project, which are currently in the pipeline. 2. As a Falcons team owner, I have helped in creating sprint planning sheets and conducted complete sprint planning. In the absence of scrum owner, I have taken up his responsibilities and conducted DSM's.I also take care of items getting added and removed from the sprint, creating & starting the sprint in JIRA along with any associated items.3. Conducted Ad-hoc research on existing system functionality on request from BU. This is mostly related to Ticklers with research on movement of letters from RS to various downstream systems like RDNG and vendor systems. I got appreciations from my manager Muthu for the document's content and quality. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As a Business Analyst, delivering complex solutions in RealServicing environment, it has become imperative to create effective team work environment.I have worked in close collaboration and co-ordination within the product management and other external teams to successfully bring several projects to closure. Without active coordination of different teams, it is next to impossible to deliver a solution. For the RealServicing projects, I have created a robust structure and acted as a fulcrum for team work between Clients, Development, QA, UAT, release management and Product support teams. This has created a complete value chain of different team involved in delivering a solution to the client.A special focus of teamwork has been on close collaboration with clients. Pre-forclosure projects are complex and require constant guidance of client. I have made a point to be present at the client location as far as possible and create a virtual team with the sole aim of delivering the projects as soon as possible. I have also seen significant success in using this strategy especially in Bankruptcy related projects. Internally,within Altisource, i have aligned closely with PMO , engineering and scrum masters to setup the right track for effective and efficient delivery of projects.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/***************As a Business Analyst, complete and constant customer focus has been my central theme. Customer focus involves spending time and effort from the perspective of the customer to understand her real problems and the pain points. At every project level, I spent most of the intial time, understanding the existing usage pattern of the product from customer viewpoint. This gives a fist hand view of not only the symptoms of the problems but also focuses on the root of the problem. In every project of mine, the focus has been to solve the root cause of the problem and not the symptoms per se.This customer focus helps me evolve my understanding and pattern of usage of the product and gives me a rich understanding of customer viewpoint. This result in me being in a better position to solve customer's painpoint and thus delivering value to both customer as well as Altisource. ****************/-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There have been instances of multiple conflicting priorities. In such scenario's, the following was done by me 1. In the case of multiple requirements, it is imperative to effectively manage the time in hand. I had ensured that all the deliverable were lined up and properlymanaged to ensure that not one loses priority but still the most important ones gets delivered quickly and efficiently. 2. The customer issues have always been prioritized on the top. This is to ensure that the customer satisfaction is always high. However, at the same time, non-customerfacing deliverable are also managed effectively to ensure being consistent with the long-term goals of the organization.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As a Business Analyst, effective communication has been a key to delivering various projects to the end customer. There has been instances where requirements were not clear or vague or were not clear to engineering team. This has happened in multiple projects and i had stepped up to ensure multiple rounds of clarification leading to clarity on the project. Those were further lucidly explained to the engineering team leading to accurate understanding and delivery of project. Another facet of the same idea, is to create effective communication within the team. There were instances when requirements where not clear within different sections of the engineering team. In this scenario, I ensured that effective dialogue is created within teams to clarify and close the requirements.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I want to develop in the following areas professionally1. Deeper understanding of Mortgage servicing domain along with related areas like Loan Origination, property valuation etc.2. Getting professionally trained and certified in Product Management area along with learning the best practices.3. Developing more expertise in advanced software development methodology like Agile. 4. Providing ad-hoc support to RS-EQ integration project even after project had moved to production and was successfully deployed.2. Trying to build up collaborative work atmosphere between the engineering team and myself and focus on the agenda of successful delivery of the projects.3. Creating artifacts on bankruptcy process which can work as knowledge repository for the existing and new team members.4. Sharing knowledge among peers within the product management team for successful completion of their projects.5. Giving close support to UAT team for successful testing of projects.
