Do’s and Don’ts 1. Do: Get a case! We use Otterbox Defender.2. Do: Come up with some rules and guidelines.3. Do: Set limits. They will play all day. Limit their screen-time.

4. Do: Play with them. It is great for taking turns.5. Do: Use the Find my iPhone, Passcode Locks, and Restrictions. 1. Don’t think depend on the iPad to “CURE” them. It is just a tool.(AN AMAZING TOOL) Remember, a bad carpenter with a great tool can’t fix anything. A lot of what the iPad can do for your child depends on you doing it with them. 2. Don’t think they won’t learn your passwords. Lock out in app purchases and the app store. If not it will cost you.3. Don’t buy the first app you see. Try some out. What works for me, may not work for you. So shop around and find the best ones for you. 4. Don’t do it alone. The Internet is full of resources and people who will help you. Twitter is a great way to find tech help. Email the app developers if you have a question about an app. The good developers will always help you. 5. Don’t just make your kids work on it. Let them play too. The iPad draws in other kids like a moth to a flame. It is a great way to help your kids interact with others socially.
