for many years. I share this because many say they are searching for their
life purpose. Looking back over my lifetime my purpose has never changed,
it has only evolved. You may be asking, “What is my purpose?” Only you and
God will be privilege to that decision. Trust God and go to Him and He will
illuminate your mind, body and spirit with your purpose. That is guaranteed

eryone that seeks, finds; and everyone who knocks, the door will be open).

Meditation Consultant Rhonda Jones Should Christians Practice EFT or Avoid It? EFT is an acronym on for Emotional Freedom Technique. Occasionally, I am asked if EFT is something that
Christians should avoid. I personally believe that EFT is an effective tool or technique for releasing blocked or suppressed emotions. Many times instead of finding the root cause of distress, negative emotions, or heaviness, we bury it deeper into our subconscious mind. It is kind of like knowing that a mouse ran in my home and instead of finding and getting rid of it, I pretend it doesn’t bother me. And, in order to combat any nega-tive feelings, I distract myself or tell myself that I feel one way, when deep down inside I am fearful, anxious, or worried.
Most people wouldn’t settle for sharing their resident with a rodent and would immediately purchase mouse traps, poison, or call an extermina-tor. Once that mouse is caught the anxiety lifts and your well-being is restored. EFT is like the emotional equivalent of acknowledging there is a menace in your subconscious mind and then letting it go. Our emo-tions let us know immediately when something is wrong. God created us to live with continual peace and wellbeing. Whenever our well-being is being attacked, it’s time to go into battle. The longer we let ill feelings remain, the more effort we will need to get rid of them. EFT contains a well-establish system for releasing negative emotions. It is often called emotional acupuncture as you tap on emotional pressure points on your
body while releasing negative circumstances and then affirming more positive statements.
In the first part of EFT you do what is called “make friends with the problem.” What this really means is that you bring to the surface and acknowledge that a problem exist. Sometimes we think that if we acknowledge that we are afraid, angry, depressed, or worried that we are not living by faith or we are going to make matters worse. Yet, regardless of having great faith, we all have fears. Having great faith isn’t denying our fears but confronting them head on and giving them over to God.
I believe this is one of the greatest benefits of EFT because it helps people to confront their fears and then change how they will view them in the future. I always tell people that you can’t create a solution until you know the problem and EFT helps you to get to the root of the problem and then release it. Once you know the tapping points you can make your own EFT sessions using the scriptures or Biblical affirmations. I created my own Biblical EFT dialogue awhile back that helped me to eliminate anxiety about my finances. I have used EFT with other Christians who have been able to find relief over specific negative emotions. After each session you rate your negative feelings on a scale of 1-10 and if the emotion still exists you repeat the process. In my opinion, I see nothing unscriptural or ungodly about EFT, however I have also created a similar technique for overcoming negative emotions by cast-ing every care on the Lord. It’s easy to make your own EFT dialogue. First identify the problem. Secondly, create positive statements that bring the problem under the authority of Christ.

Abundant Living! Is it really possible?You may be asking yourself, what is abundant living? Some may consider it living life in peace,
joy and happiness. Others may consider it living a financially secure life. But is it really possible to live an abundant life? The dictionary describes abundance as: 1.an extremely plenti-ful or over-sufficient quantity or supply. 2. overflowing fullness: abundance of the heart. 3. affluence; wealth: I came across an article written by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger Editor of NaturalNews.com on abundance. I decided to share some interesting points from the article.
“Be a river, not a dam, and abundance of all kinds (financial and otherwise) will flow through you. Being a river means being the kind of person who is a conduit, who allows resources, including money, to flow through you rather than being the kind of person who tries to dam up the
flow of energy and selfishly keep it all for yourself. There is a system at work in the universe that distributes resources to those who are the most responsible in putting them to good use. Of course, there’s a competing system at work, too. That is a system that results in resources being collected in the hands of people who are deceitful, who cheat others, who are dishonest, unethical and so on. Let’s return to the metaphor of being a river and not a dam. Healthy rivers flow; water continues to move downstream it gets replenished from an upstream source. In that river you’ll find all kinds of life: fish, micro-algae and plants. But if you dam up that river, you cause stagnation. You stop the flow. A person who approaches life from a point of view of abundance believes there is more than enough financial wealth for the world and more than enough food. They say, “In my life, I am an abundant person in everything I deal with,” and they attract abundance and wealth. That person is going to flow like a river and notice that, even as they allow all of that water to flow downstream to other recipients and provide life further down the line, they are always replenished with new water coming from upstream. It is in fact the flow of that water that keeps it healthy and full of life. In fact, this is a very healing exercise to engage in. If you are knowledgeable about chakras and the energy centers in the body, you are most likely aware that simply giving actually opens up the flow of energy through those chakras. Understanding this flow of energy is truly one of the secrets to abundance. You can call it ener-getic, you can call it karma or you can call it a spiritual approach. It doesn’t matter what you call it; it’s the way the universe works. If you flow, you will be blessed with more resources than you know what to do with.”Living an abundant life is a conscious decision we make for ourselves which affects others.
