Festival Rules & RegulationsAll booths must be set up by 4 PM on Friday and 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Vendors are expected to remain openuntil close on Friday and Saturday; how long you remain open Sunday is at the vendor’s discretion.

Regular police patrols will pass in the park after closing, however, the Atchafalaya River Festival, R.I.S.E., and the Townof Simmesport are not responsible for anything left in booth.

Vendors are asked to remove all trash inside their booth space.

Booth spaces will be marked with a number and each vendor will be notified in advance of their individual spaces. Each booth space will come with two passes into the festival. There will be an entry fee.

There will be no refunds for weather conditions or other acts of God. If the festival needs to be rescheduled,all booth commitments will be honored.

No sirens, flashing lights, or loud music will be permitted in the booths.

Animals or pets are prohibited except for service dogs for the disabled and those approved for demonstrations.

Vendors are responsible for all sales taxes owed to the parish and state. Forms for submitting sales taxes will be available on our website.

There are no camping areas near the festival. Vehicles may be left overnight at owners’ risk.

Any vendor violating the policies of the Atchafalaya River Festival will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued.

Vendors will park with the public. However, you will have access to your booth with a vehicle during the followingtimes: Friday: 2 PM - 4PM Saturday: 7 AM - 9 AM Sunday: 7 AM - 9 AM

Vendor agrees and covenants to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reinvesting in Simmesport’s Expansion (also known as RISE), the Parish of Avoyelles, the Town of Simmesport, its officers, volunteers, officials, employees, members, agents and assignees from and against any and all liabilities, claims, suits, and causes of action of whatever nature or type (including but not limited to causes of action based upon tort, strict liability or otherwise), and all attorney fees, costs, and expenses incidental thereto, which may arise or in any way be connected directly or indirectly, with vendor’s participation in the festival. The indemnification is absolute, personal to the vendor, and is not limited by the vendor’s insurance coverage.
