Rocklin, CA 95677 Date and time: April 25, 2012 5:00 pm 6:00 pm Dinner and Social hour. 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Presentation Speaker Silvio Modena from Miller Electric Mfg. Co. Our April meeting has been moved from Wednesday April 18 to Wednesday April 25 to bring the new technology coming now in wire feed MIG/MAG and Cored processes. This AWS Sacramento Valley meeting will feature Silvio Modena of Miller Electric Manufacturing Company with a presentation of MuliMIG high- lighting RMD and Accu-Pulse as well as conventional pulsing, and how these de- velopments of controlling the weld pool out of position benefit the welder. Silvio Modena III has been with Miller Electric for fourteen years and is the Dis- trict Manager for Northern California. His territory stretches from the Oregon bor- der to the Golden Gate to the middle of Nevada. Quick to "put on a hood" and "figure it out", he is a wealth of knowledge with past assignments as service tech- nician, technical sales, distribution and education in welding, Silvio has been a driving force for welding in our region with his expertise and passion for helping others attain success. He continues to be dedicated to the development of our fu- ture generation of welders in this country. Please welcome this opportunity to hear another exceptional presentation by Silvio and see the developments of this tech- nology live at Sierra College, 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin CA in the welding de- partment patio area next to H building. Parking passes will be provided. Bring your own gear; safety glasses, gloves and hood if you wish to "get close to the arc". Processes with Miller Electric”
