Objectives• To increase awareness of branch and maintain base voters• To plant the
seeds of future banking relationships and ensure follow-up
Strategies
1.Create an event that appeals to a targeted audience: women.
• Women make more than 80% of the decisions in the home.
2. Develop new marketing ideas targeted to women.
• Use chocolate: put free personalized Hershey bars at front desk weeks before the event.
3. Show another side of PNC.• Use event to ensure a lasting impression

-Face Painting- flowers, trees, bees, butterflies
-Gardening Trivia- identifying flowers, memory games, etc.
-Balloon Man- flower shaped balloons with bright
spring colors
-Flower Pot Decorating-paint, sparkles, and glitter on small
terracotta pots

-Gardening Exhibition-Florists from all over are invited to
display their best arrangements, most exotic flowers, decorating
ideas, or floral displays. Parking lot will become a hothouse of beautiful colors, shapes, and scents. Event
day will become a summit of learning, sharing, and display for
the community.
Event Details (best)-Floral Arrangement Competition-Categories for professionals, PNC branches, botany clubs, community groups, families, and individuals (by age). Prizes for each entrance, best
in class, and best in show. Grand prize: article in newspaper, PNC
Directions, trip to Flower Show, and named PNC’s Florist of the Year.
