    hope that this April newsletter finds y'all doing well. I hope the pollen hasn't goe best of you!

    here are a lot of events and activities taking place in the upcoming weeks and, ope you will have a chance to get and be part of them. The VA Division

    onvention will be taking place March 30-April 1 and I will have a report on theections and happenings at the meeting. Also, the camp will be once again, be

    upporting the Chesterfield Historical Society for Chesterfield County Confederaeritage & History, Day April 7th, at the Court House. At this time we have 11olunteers taking part in the programs, set up and taking down of the chairs, tabc. The programs starts at Noon and run until 3:00pm.

    ease continue the support of the VA Flaggers at VMFA for the return of the

    onfederate Flag to the Chapel. They carry the colors every Saturday andWednesday. Please contact the VMFA and ask them, "nicely," to allow the Lee-ackson Camp #1 to replace the flag so that it can fly in Honor of ouronfederate/Virginia Ancestors.

    addition, as most of you know, the MOC will be opening a new museum inppomattox on March 31. The MOC, under the direction of, Mr. Waite Rawls, wiOT allow the Confederate Flag (National or Battle flag) to fly on the outside of tuseum. They will only have the State Flags from each of the Confederate State

    nd the 1865 Stars and Stripes.

    ontact the MOC and Mr. Waite Rawls and let them know that the Confederateational Flag should be allowed to fly in front and along the State flags. It seemsnce again, the MOC has taken the PC road.

    ur checking account balance as of February 24th was $2,937.57. Attendance at the March meeting was embers and 7 visitors.

    our March meeting we raised $50 in donations adding to the total above.

    so, the camp would like a couple of volunteers to serve as door greeters at our meetings to help visitors fhome.

Several of our members are going, including our Commander Bill Brown.

    wo votes were taken by the membership regarding the proposed changes to the Virginia Division SCVonstitution and the election for Division officers. For the first, the camp voted to empower our delegates tst our votes for or against the proposed changes as they felt best. For the second, the camp voted to

    mpower our delegates to cast our votes for the candidates for Division officers as they thought best.
