1 Elecng APTAC leadership for the coming year is one of the most important things that happens at our annual Membership meeng, which is held in conjuncon with the Spring Training Conference each year. Here is a quick refresher on how the process works: Who can vote: Anyone aending the conference who is on the roster of a member PTAC may vote in APTAC’s elecon, as well as all those not at the conference who are devoted 25% or more to a member PTAC per their SCAA roster. If you are not aending the Conference, please make sure your APTAC profile denotes your percentage devoted to the PTAC (click here to update). When to vote: Vong will open at 12 noon PDT on Monday, April 10th and close at 1 pm PDT on Tuesday, April 11th. Your ballot may be cast at any me during this 25 hour window. How to vote: For those aending the conference, the 2017 Ballot will be accessible via the Conference App as well as at kiosks at the registraon desk. Although Wifi will not be available in the meeng rooms, you will have ample me to vote during breaks - or the evening - in the lobby or your sleeping room where Wifi IS available. Not aending? A link will be emailed to you when vong opens on April 10th, and you may cast your ballot via your computer. The extended hours should allow everyone ample opportunity to vote. Electing APTAC leadership for the coming year is one of the most important things that

happens at our annual Membership meeting, which is held in conjunction with the Spring

Training Conference each year. Here is a quick refresher on how the process works:

Who can vote: Anyone attending the conference who is on the roster of a member PTAC may

vote in APTAC’s election, as well as all those not at the conference who are devoted 25% or

more to a member PTAC per their SCAA roster. If you are not attending the Conference, please

Mary Walks Over Ice, Candidate for Region 11 Director BIO: Mary started with the NADC PTAC in 2009 as a Supervisory Procurement Specialist, moving to the role of Program Manager in July of 2012. The service areas covered by NADC PTAC include Indian reservations in Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota. Before coming to the PTAC, Mary worked for several years in her father’s Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm located on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana. The firm has been in business now for 40+ years and has completed projects on 17 reservations in 6 states. Mary enjoys golfing, bowling, and spending time with her husband, two sons, two daughters, and two

granddaughters as well as with friends. She serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Yellowstone County’ where she is helping to place a BBBS program on an Indian reservation in Montana. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. Mary currently serves as APTAC Region 11 Director.
