My Hydroponics System

• We are growing peas, capsicum, beans, parsley and strawberries

• We pump water from a container up to the plants. Then the water seeps through the rocks and back into the water container through a hole.

• The system we use is called a ‘flood and drain’ system. It fills the growbed faster than it can drain. This gives the plants time to absorb the nutrients in the water. It floods for 15 minutes, then drains, and after 45 minutes, it starts again.
