Welcome to the Aquatic Center!

The Aquatic Center is equipped with two warm water pools averaging 91-92 degrees and a 102 degree whir lpool . The facili ty is equipped with handrails , ramps and a li ft for easy pool access .

Aquatic Center entrance opens 15 minutes before pool opening and locks down 15 minutes after pool closing.

Class Registration & Payment

• In person registrat ion is mandatory . Due to our first come, first served policy, we cannot accept registrat ions over the phone. Registrat ion cont inues throughout the session as space is available at a prorated rate .

• The spring session is 12 weeks long. Classes run for 45 minutes, once per week. Classes are $84. Drop into any class for $9, unless otherwise noted.

• Payment is due at t ime of registrat ion (cash, check, credit card) . A fee of $15 will be charged for all insufficient fund transfers . Patrons will not be allowed access to the aquatic facili t ies unt il payment is made.

• Classes, dips, passes and makeups may ONLY be used by the registered member who owns the account . Accounts are non- transferable .

Class Cancellation

Due to insufficient enrollment, classes will not run with less than four enrolled part icipants . Registrants will be not ified in advance if a class is canceled, and will be allowed either a credit , refund or class switch .

Class Make-Up Policy, Pass Extensions & Credits

• Any credit given must be used within one (1) year or will expire .

• Credits , refunds or extensions must be accompanied by a writ ten note from your medical provider .

• Pass extension requests must be made while the pass is current . Expired passes will not be extended.

• Missed classes may be made up during open or group swim, independent exercise or from our lis t of make-up classes . Make-upMake-up classes must be completed during the exist ing session . MOVING AHEAD – Pool 1 – $84Warm water exercise for people who are post stroke or who have had head trauma or a balance deficiency. DEEP WATER VOLLEYBALL – Pool 2 - $84Bump, set , spike! This class is not only FUN, but an incredible workout , FUN, but an incredible workout , with zero impact .with zero impact . Part icipants wear a flotat ion belt , a volleyball net is set up, and a beach ball is used. Part icipants must feel comfortable in deep water . Our group lessons are loosely based on Red Cross WSI (Water Safety Instructor) , but just like all of our aquatic classes, we adapt and modify for the individual student to ensure their success, as no two children are the same.

We will also learn basic water safety . Class is limited to five students ages 3+ .

The Aquatic Center offers many types of Swim Classes to fi t your needs and your schedule . Classes are guided or led by a trained instructor .

BEGINNER II - POOL 2Children will begin s ide breathing with the front crawl .s ide breathing with the front crawl . The backstroke backstroke and pract icing treading watertreading water will be introduced. Swimming in deep water will also be reviewed. Class is limited to five children ages 3+ .

Prerequis i te: children must be able to kick across the pool on their backs with minimal ass istance. Children must also be able to swim at least four arm strokes ( front crawl) .

INTERMEDIATE - POOL 2Children will build on skills learned in Beginner II , focusing on strengthening the front crawl and backstroke, as well as treading strengthening the front crawl and backstroke, as well as treading water for 30 seconds .water for 30 seconds . The elementary backstroke and diving will also be introduced. More advanced swimmers will also work on the s idestroke and breast stroke. The class is for swimmers who are working on strengthening basic strokes and ready to learn something new. Class is limited to five students age 5+ .

Prerequis i te: Children must be able to swim the front crawl and backstroke for 25 yards and be comfortable swimming in deep water .

WHIRLPOOL USEClass part icipants may use the whir lpool before and after their paid class t ime. POOL RESTRICTIONSJumping into the pool is permitted only under direct supervis ion of pool staff .

For your safety, i f any of the following condit ions exist , entry to the pool will not be permitted: Fever, diarrhea, open sores, blood infect ions, infect ious diseases, bowel incont inence, ur inary tract infect ions, respiratory tract infect ions, uncontrolled seizure act iv i ty , menstruat ion without internal protect ion, fluctuat ing blood pressure not controlled by medication .

LOST & FOUND Lost i tems can be claimed at the Aquatic desk or pool office up to 30 days after i t is found.

LOCKER ROOMS Private and family fr iendly locker rooms are available for your needs . CP is not responsible for lost or stolen i tems . We suggest bringing a lock for your valuables or leave them at home. Please be considerate of others by using the provided lockers and keeping benches and walkways clear of personal i tems .

POOL PATRON ATTENDANTS Patrons requir ing assistance on deck, in the water or in the locker rooms must be accompanied by an attendant for assistance. The Aquatic Center does not provide this service. Please note that CP does not charge for attendants as a courtesy . Attendants must stay within an arm’s reach of the pool patron at all t imes . Attendants not consistent ly performing this service will be charged an entry fee.

WHEELCHAIRSWheelchairs are available at the Aquatic Center entrance for your use during your pool t ime.

BARRIER FREEAquatic wheelchairs , a hoyer li ft and s i t - to-stand li ft can be found in the family changing room area for your convenience while using the Aquatic Center pools .

POOL ETIQUETTE All patrons must shower before entering the pool and after us ing the restrooms before re-entering the pool .

No street shoes are allowed on deck.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO/CELL PHONE POLICY- Be respectful of your fellow pool patrons .

- CP reserves the r ight to photograph and/or videotape adults and children part icipating in our events and programs. Images may be used in promotional materials , advert is ing and on CP’s website and social media platforms .

- The use of digital cameras, cell phones and other electronic devices capable of producing an image are prohibited in the Aquatic Center locker rooms and restrooms.

- Cellphone usage is prohibited on the pool deck, unless consent is granted by the class instructor, li feguard, pool supervisor or the Manager of Aquatics .
