Explicit groups
Groupsto whichyou must manually assign usersin the User form. When a useris
assigned to a group, the useris given accessto all itemsto whichthe groupisgranted access.Explicit groupsthatyou create are defined for a particular
server. If you movethe objectsto a new server withits own defined explicitgroups, you might need to resolvepermission conflicts. Consider using a
deployable application, which usesrolepermissionsthatcan be mapped todifferent groups on differentservers.
Implicit groups
Groupsthat depend on specific usercircumstances and situations. Users belong tothese groups based on specificconditions, such asthecontents of special fields
within eachrequest. You do not directly assign usersto implicit groups. Any
dynamic groupsthatyou create are also implicit groups.
